What e-mail program are you using (Outlook Express, Outlook, Windows Mail, Thunderbird, etc)?

I had the same problem...Your email client/server is most likely not the same as the default windows. An easy work around would be to use a POP 3 service such a google's gmail to act as an outgoing email server.

1: Start a gmail account: remember log on and password.
2: Go through your e-mail configuation.
3: Enter smtp.gmail.com as your "outgoing (SMTP) server" and make sure the "requires authentication" box is checked.
4: Click "advanced server settings" and check "Outgoing requires SSL"
5: Next, enter the info from step 1: and make sure "save password" is checked.

The rest is up to you how you go about as far as settings are concerned.

Now, your phone will "route" your emails through the gmail server...This is the only way I've found to fix this.

Probably a simple solution, most email will update automatically when connected, but will not send unless told to. Just click options and send/recieve if it's saying it's sending them but not actually sending them.

I can receive emails but can't send emails Actually I can return emails and send emails within my company. Anything outside I can't reply or send.

There could be a outbound mail filtering done at the company's gateway level. This could be for security reasons.

I cant figure out how to send or receive mms on my blackberry pearl 8100

To send, When you select from sending an email, scroll down to MMS. To receive, your email server has to be programmed to your phone. Takes just a minute.

Hi all of a sudden i cannot recieve txt messasges(i can send out) and i cant recieve incoming email

Have you recently turned off your media package? Check your settings and make sure you have everything in order. Sometimes there is a place in your messages folder that says do you want to receive push email, and you must have yes checked in order for it to work.

Email

You can set it to send automatically, however it won't send the email immediately if you do. It can be set to send/receive every 15 minutes, 30 minutes, or a few other longer options.

To get to this option, open up your messaging, tap Menu (bottom right) and under Tools choose Options...

A window will open up, which shows all of the messaging accounts (text message, Outlook, and any additional email addresses you have). Choose an email account you want to change. On the last page (should be 4 pages of options so just keep clicking Next in the bottom right) there is an Options button.

Click Options and you should see, in bold text, "Connect automatically and check for messages" with a drop down menu. The option, right now, is probably set to Never, so change it to whichever option suits you best.

Keep in mind that if you want an email sent immediately then you'll still have to click Send/Receive, but otherwise it will automatically Send/Receive at the specified time.
