Question about Acer Aspire 5500 5570-2609 Laptop
I have an Acer Aspire 5580-6432 model which is around 18 months old.My battery performance has been poor recently,i am getting only 35-45 minutes on fully charged battery, with setting on maximum battery life.Initially i used to get 70-90 minutes and more.Do i have to replace the batteries or is there something else wrong?
Its time for a new battery. After a period of time of using a battery, the amount of charge it can hold depletes. Even if you always have it plugged in. Usually, batteries only last 18-24 months which is sad, seeing how much they cost. I'm a computer tech and see this problem everyday first hand. The best thing you can do is buy a battery from eBay and save yourself a bunch of money. Local retail stores charge up to 3 times as much for a battery. Good luck and I hope this helps..... :>)
