First try a different cd, then try cleaning the one that won't read. If that doesn't get it then you have the usual problem with the drive failing and all you can do is replace it. You can get the drives from several after market sources. These are much cheaper and are the same drives.
This is a common enough problem that if you have a gaming store or even a retail store they will be able to tell you where/how to get it fixed. Just keep an eye on the cost as sometimes you may actually save money buy getting into a PS3.
