I have a Kenmore 14116329 propane grill. The propane tank is full but when I turn on the burners very little gas comes out resulting in a VERY low flame. Is it the regulator or???

It is most likely the saftey check valve in the tank. The procedure is to:
  • Close tank valve.
  • Disconnect hose connection from grill to tank.
  • Wait
  • Reconnect hose connection from grill to tank
  • "Slowly" open valve on tank to release gas back into grill
Through on some steaks

If still a problem replace tank.
The check valve that can cause your problem drastically reduces propane flow in case of an accident and the lines are ruptured
Hope this helps?

Can you get water in LP lines when filling RV w/ propane? Frig quit on propane, worked on electric. Had filled w/ propane two days earlier. mechanic found oily water in line; range still worked.

Yes water can do compensation build up in your propane tank. Some tanks have a drain pit on bottom reclaim propane and open the pit. If your does reclaim the propane and drain tank. If not reclaim propane and remove tank then remove filler valve turn tank over drain access water leave tank up side down over night. Put fill valve back on and mount tank. After lines are back on turn stove on leave on for 48 hours. Turn valves off and refill tank. Best of luck.

Why wont my old grill work with new propane tank

Turn off propane. Disconnect propane tank from barbecue. Open burner valves for about 20 seconds. Close valves. Reattach propane tank. Slowly open propane tank valve. Turn on burner and ignite

Hooked up proane tank used once then no flame on grill. There is propane in the tank but no propane flows out of it either when hooked up to the grill or when opening the valve directly on the tank. This...

The valve on the tank has an internal valve that will not allow you to release propane into the atmosphere. It must be connected to a regulator line in order to open.
It sounds like your regulator has failed. Remove the regulator assembly, inspect it carefully for blockage or hose kinks. If there none, try replacing the regulator assembly.

New Tank won't light Weber Grill

Try checking the regulator, this is the round metal piece connected to the gas line. If this is not level flat the valve inside will not let propane flow through.

I believe i am being charged exorbitant fees for connection of my propane tank. situation: I have propane for my range top. There is NO pilot on the range (we light the burners when the propane is turned...

How fast did the propane run out? If there was a leak (which would cause the propane tank to empty a lot faster than normal use) you would be able to smell it. You can check for leaks yourself using soapy water; apply soapy water to the connection and look for bubbles...bubbles means there is a leak...no bubbles means everything is good. I think you got ripped off but I won't know for sure unless you can tell how fast the propane ran out.

The metal tube that connects the propane tank to the unit snapped ON but now won t come off

It has "Ears" on it to prevent it from coming off...to get it off requires pushing in the ears and then sliding it off simultaneously. But then the ears will not snap good into the burner any more...Its meant to stay in after its assembled and just the propane tank is supposed to unscrew and come off. However the tube should still spin to prop the tank in either side for your convenience. its safe to remove and re-install the tank as often as you like.
Its not going to "Spill" but just give a split second "FFFTTT" sound as it is removed.
I hope this helps you out with this...
8-) post comments if you have anymore questions with this. i check on them from time to time.

Cannot conect regulator to small 16.4 oz propane tank

It must have some sort of packing spacer you need to remove from the hose to attach the tank. LOL
