Take the old capacitor with you to a heating and air supply and they can match it up for you. You can also look at the microfarad rating on the capacitor and go get one with the same rating and the some shape also.

Out door unite fan moter not ranning .

You will need to use a meter to check this out. This means you will have to check it with power applied. If your not knowledgeable about electricity then you should call a A/C company as this could hurt and even kill you. If you are then first check to see if the condenser fan is wired into the same relay as the compressor is on if so and the compressor is coming on then pull the capacitor and check the MFD with a meter look on the Capacitor to see what the MFD are supposed to be you must be with in 5% + or - if not replace it.now also make sure this unit dose not have a head pressure switch hooked up to the fan if so then make sure that this switch is closing when the pressure gets up to what it is set for.

It does sound like a bad fan motor. With the compressor getting hot you may need to change the start relay, overload and run capacitor if it continues to run like this with a defective fan motor. What is the correct model number? Sea Breeze
The condenser fan motor for a model MZD2766GES is part number=> 61005323 Condenser Fan Motor or here=> 61005323 Condenser Fan Motor

Check capacitor on goodman air

Inside the electrical panel, silver or gray capacitor. It will have the numbers printed on it, like 35/5 or 45/5. Usually, you can visually see if the capacitor is swollen or blown. To actually check the capacitor the correct way, you need a meter that measures mfd's (micro-farads). You shut power of to unit, take wire connections off of capacitor, remembering where they go, and check for correct mfd's by putting one lead on HERM (compressor), and one lead on COM (common). To check the fan, one lead on FAN (condenser fan motor), and the other lead to COM. Your numbers need to be within 10% of the number listed on the cap. For instance, on a 50/5 capacitor, you can be 45/5 to 50/5, anything lower will not work.

Hope this helps you out and gets you to cooler days!

Hi, I have an older mobil home with a Colman AC

Your unit uses both the capacitor and a contactor (relay) to start your compressor and motor. With the indications you are giving it would either be the capacitor or the contactor - and since you have already changed the cap - then replace the contractor!

NOTE: We always recommend that you change the capacitor and relay at the same time, because they seem to fail at about the same time.

I have a Ruud Air Conditioner and need to install a new capacitor, but I forgot how the wires were on the old one. Can you help me in tellilng me which wire goes where.

There should be 3 terminals on the capacitor marked "C" "F" and "H".
A wire from the high voltage contactor goes to the "C".
Another wire from "C" goes to the compressor.
These wires are usually red.
The "F" terminal has a wire going to the fan, usually a brown wire.
The "H" has a wire going to the compressor, usually yellow.
There should be a wiring diagram on the control box cover identifying the terminals, colors and number of wires.

I NEED TO KNOW WHAT SIZE CAPACITOR GOES IN MODEL NUMBER- CK49-1B

The old capacitor has it's rating on the side. If the old capacitor is missing the you will have to read the capacitor rating on the data plate for the compressor and the one for the condenser fan motor as well. Each of them will tell you what capacitor they require. The compressor will be something like 35µF.

Data plate for the compressor in located on the top of the compressor or on the side and will look similar to the one of the ones pictured below. The fan motor one will be on the side of the motor, you will have to remove the top of the condensing unit to see the fan label.

The condenser fan for carrier xarios 300 is not

there is a run capacitor is probably bad.
you can purchase a replacement one from slakey brothers. However the capacitor will still have a charge after the power and wires are removed. after turning off the breaker use a long bladed screw driver and ground the electrical leads to discharge the capacitor before removing. take it with you to the supply house along with the model and serial number of the condensing unit.
