I think you need to try Leawo DVD Creator to convert your video to DVD format and creat DVD floder and then burn into DVD. After that, you can play in DVD player.

This is why this is not a dvd file. if you want make a dvd you must change thev file from avi to dvd file.. you can find many software that change the type from file from one to another type. or you can burn it normaly in data file. i have on my pc k lite codec pack full this is one software that i use to see all the type of video file. to change file searche a normal free software to trasform the file from avi to dvd...if you want make a dvd. but you can simply write this file in data file... say to your burn software. burn the file as data, not as dvd. sorry for my bad english. look if you have nero.
you can find make a dat dvd.. insert your file and burn it so

How do I copy a video file from my cell phone's device memory to a micro SD card?

Your video is stored on your phone's micro SD card already. Remove the micro SD card in your phone and mount it in your computer, Ipad or tablet. You may need an adapter. Once you have removed and stored the file you can transfer it to any other device or SD card or manipulate the video file in your computer. Or you can try a direct USB connection from your phone to a computer. May need an adapter cord for that.
All else fails - open a free account with Dropbox and upload your video file from the phone. Store it there and distribute as you see fit. Sometimes you can send a large file with a text message, also.

What formatting is necessary to play videos on the SD card slot of my Magnavox NB500MG1F Blu Ray Player?

The SD card is mainly for photos, but you can do video.
The SD card needs to be formatted as fat 16
The video has to be profile 1.1

If you use the larger SDHC cards, they can be formatted fat 32.
It works best if you format it with the player and not your computer.

Purchased a .jarfile for my Droid X....but I am having problems downloading it to my phone....the last message it gave me was that it was an unsupprted download....is there any way to download a jar file?...

You could always "side load" it. I.E. download it to your computer, plug your DX in and enable "USB Mass Storage", then put it on the SD Card that way.
Your other options are to try some 3rd party apps, like Dropbox or Sugarsync.

You may try some recovery software to rescue the files on your handy recorder, here are some for your option.

Photo Video Music Recovery (for Windows)
Photo Video Music Recovery for Mac

Both programs can also recover video and music files.

Note: Before your files are recovered, do not attempt to save more files to the recorder in case the original files(your recordings) are overwritten.

Accidently deleted files on sd card with hd writer ae . How can i recover the files?

I had success with steps below
1. Do not save any new file to memory card.
2. Connect your card to computer. You should see memory card shown as a drive letter (like H:) in My Computer.
3. Download sd card recovery software, recommended Asoftech Data Recovery (simply because i was using it and it worked) with link below
SD card recovery software
4. Install and open the data recovery program, select your memory drive, and click 'Next' button to start scanning process which will find your files.

How do I use my SD card for video recording and storing file on DVD

Extract the SD card from the camera and plug it in your computer (if you have a slot). If not, download them to your computer using the camera software. Anyway, after the files are on the computer hard drive, you use DVD burning software to write the files on a DVD.

I need to take what i recorded and put on my computer to burn on a disk...how?

Since the camcorder records on Mini DVD+/-R and RW, and SD/MMC cards, just eject the media from the camcorder and insert it into the appropriate drive on your computer. Open the burning software of your choice (which you may or may not already own) and follow the directions for burning the files with that software. If the disks are DVD RW or SD/MMC delete the files after burning is complete. Even though the manual states that it will work with DVD-R, the camcorder seems to have issues finalizing these particular formats, so I recommend using DVD+R and DVD+RW. I hope this helps and good luck. Please vote appropriately and leave a comment.
