You probably need a new seat switch.

I have a 2000 Yamaha v-star 1100 I'm wanting to bypass the clutch safety switch an bypass the kick stand safety switch so my bike will start. Plus I don't like dealing with them

they are there for a purpose--your safety
if the clutch switch is bypassed , you can start it in gear and if the kick stand is bypassed you can start it with the bike up and it will take off in gear
If you do like dealing with them get off the bike until you can learn to a responsible rider and not living spare parts for some one else

New battery ran for a little then stopped. Has gas 16.5hp garden way rider What could be wrong?

there are 3 safety switches,clutch/brake ,deck, and seat, one of them is bad,if it turns over then the deck is bad,if it doesnt,it is the seat or clutch, pull the black ground wire off of the coil and try to start,if that works, fix your switches or use without safety switches

Can I push start a 2007 Honda 500

Hi Linda:
The short answer is yes.
I'll add a couple of extra comments.
- You can push it for ever and it won't start if it does not have fuel or spark. So, I;ll ask, Why do you want to push start it? If the battery is dead, or it won't hold a charge, that sounds like an appropriate fix.
- Push starting a bike can be dangerous. You have to consider that when the motor starts, the bike will want to accelerate, and probably rapidly. Know where you're planning on going if it starts.
- Technique.... It's easier to push a bike that's in neutral than when in gear with the clutch dragging, so the safe and easiest way to push start the bike is to have the ignition switch on, choke set where you think it should be, transmission in neutral, have a rider sit on the bike, and get it rolling downhill. The rider will then pull the clutch lever, put it into second gear, and let the clutch out at the same time as they drop their weight onto the seat. Tricky for a novice, but the weight drop helps to keep the back tire from sliding.
Think Safety!! If you're a novice rider, I would not recommend that you try this.

Put in gaer and dies

Some bikes have one or more safety features regarding the clutch and gear box. One feature is a micro-switch at the clutch master/lever, it tells the safety system if the clutch lever is out or in. If the switch fails the safety system will think the lever is out (allowing power to rear wheel) and kill the engine to prevent the bike from lurching forward, potentially causing the bike and rider to go down. The other feature is not as common, it is a similar switch at the side stand. This prevents the rider from starting off with the side stand down. Which can also cause the bike and rider to go down. If that switch fails then the bike will think the side stand is always down and will kill the engine as soon as it put into gear. If you know how to use a multimeter you can test the switch(s) for function and determine if it is failed. Otherwise have it checked by a competent mechanic.

There is also a recall on your bike (and many others with the same gearbox) regarding the power train. A good reason to get you bike in, fix this safety issue and your original issue.

I got craftsman lt 1000 runs great except when you put in gear or start blades can anyone tell me what they think the problem is

you didnt state on what it does when you try to engage the blades . im assuming that it trys to die . or least boggs out the motor .. also you didn't mention if this has the electric pto clutch or not .. if it has the pto clutch then id say that it has a relay missing or bad . also check the safety switches and make sure they are all working . most riders have one on the seat anymore and if its not working right then it causes a ground and trys to kill the engine . i know this isnt the proper thing to do but you may try to just unplug this one and see if that helps ...

Electric clutch warner

Sounds like your rider safety switch is disconnected. When you enable the blades the rider presence switch (under the seat) must be made else the mower will quit.

Started up...then died as if safety switch 18HP craftsman rider

On later models there are possibly three safety switches, one under the seat, one for the blade engage mechanism or blade clutch so the blades don't turn when the mower is started, and a neutral safety switch to make sure the mower is in neutral before it starts.

I have a snapper rider (hydro), when it's started and u take foot off clutch/brake, it dies, push in clutch again and it catches...could it be the safety switch under the seat? Please help!!!

This does sounds like your safety switch is bad. But you do need to make sure that your clutch it engaging properly also the adjustment could have been changed by vibration also
