An invisible film probably formed over the contacts of the camera body and lens where they meet. When you removed/attached the lens, you slightly cleaned that area. You should now clean it properly with a cotton swab lightly dampened with rubbing alcohol.

My nikon d80 is taking green pictures, what is wrong with it and how do i fix it?

Hi,

You may try resetting your camera to default settings. It's white balance might have been tweaked for custom settings. Find the two buttons with green dots next to them on the top right of D80. They are the +/-* and AF* buttons. Hold them both down for a few seconds. The top LCD blinks and everything is back to factory settings. If problem persists, you may contact Nikon for further troubleshooting and repair.

I hope this works for you. Kindly reply for further assistance. Good Luck!

Hi, allow me to suggest using another lens to see if you still see the dark patches in the top corners. If not it is the lens, if so it is the camera. Either way it sounds as though something is maladjusted. Call Nikon digital 1-800-645-6689.

My daughter dropped my camera it was in the case and now y camera is blinking f is my camera messed up or is it the lense?

Hi mom_0809, According to the manual page 132, it says F- - blinks means No lens attached, non-CPU lens attached. Solution is to attach the lens, select mode M. If the camera sustained a violent drop maybe the lens internals became damaged. Remove the lens then put it back on. Turn to page 129 for how to reset the camera. Does the F- - blink with another lens. If so then the camera should go to Nikon for a CLA

My nikon d80 f number keep blinking. what should i do? it doesn t want to snap any picture.

The "fEE" error indicates that the camera is not communicating with the lens. The lens may not be attached to the camera properly, or if it has an aperture ring, it may not be set to f22 (or the highest aperture number of the lens) - which is normally marked in orange. Select this aperture and lock it using the aperture locking switch to prevent this from occuring again.
