You most likely need a Higher Power Mains supply feed, and or breaker/fuse?
Usually one needs at least a 20 or 30 AMP fuse.. or better yet a 35 - 60 Amps when on Single/Three Phase. or if not more in some bigger cutters, cases. So are you sure your power system can take a unit such as this?
Also sometimes it is necessary to install Slow Blow, Motor Breakers and Fuses. These allow the large Inrush, currents, and do not blow or trip, initially... yet still providing full protection.
Normal fuses cannot cope with the inrush current, and subsequently trip or blow, at turn on, as machines such as this and motors all draw many times the rated current at startup, but, then it drops down to an acceptable level, again after the initial inrush...
Now if it is NOT the supply/fuses/breaker, then the ONLY other thing that can cause this, is a short circuit between Phase, and Neutral/Earth. Either in the mains cord, or in the unit itself. This shouldn't be hard to find with a meter. Simply isolate the cause, and repair or replace the parts as required, often these units fail in the Power Supply.

Hi,
To find out why the fuse keeps cutting off you will need to open that up and trace down the problem with an OHM meter...
You may find a black spot where it is shorting or arcing, but if not then the circuits will have to be traced and eliminated one by one till you find the source of the problem...
It could be anything from bad wire or connection to a bad transformer..

I have a fuse that keeps blowing and the white letters are gone so i dont know what it goes to

you have some componet that has melted down contacts (it's hotwire is grounded) so every-time u turn on the key power is fed to direct short and the fuse blows. So look around at things that dont work.after fuse blows does motor still operate, keep it running and find out what doesnt work then check that component for melted, grounded wires...

All the lights work except the dash lights. The 5 amp fuses keep blowing and if I put a 15 amp it doesnt blow but no dash lights

DASH HAS A SHORT CIRCUIT.DASH NEED REPLACING BUT CHECK FOR SHORTS IN THE WIRES TO DASH.DONT PUT A LARGER AMP FUSE IN A CIRCUIT TO KEEP FROM BLOWING FUSE BECAUSE IF FUSE DONT BLOW WIRES GET HOT IN THE CIRCUIT THAT HAS A SHORT IN IT AND CAUSE A CAR FIRE.

Un plug the Computer to see if the fuse doesnt blow now. You may have a short in the PCM or the harness.

Weather King blows fuse in Criterion II furnace

You probably have a shorted wire between the heater and the a/c. There are two wires that conncet the control power to the outdoor a/c from the heater they should be on terminal c & y in the heater. disconect those two wires and try it again if the fuse doesnt blow you have a short in the wire between the a/c & heater
