I can zoom in and out when it's in standby but not when filming it's a bit fuzzy I thought that was just because the camera isn't necessarilky made for video but photos
    it blinks after every shot
can take a picture normally but only after I slap it against a hard surface right now
yes can take pictures without SD but still after slapping it

thank you... while I'm aware this is not a video camera per se I'm currently using it to film an indie documentary so any kind of help is very much apreciated

  • Rhett Freire Oct 11, 2010

hmmm thank you was trying to avoid that since I'd have to find the warranty paperwork... but I will... I am in need of the camera for a few projects I'm working on and simply can't do without it

  • Rhett Freire Oct 11, 2010

I changed the quality settings on it from 3:2 to 03m seems to have eliminated (however temporary) the problem for now, was hpoing not to have to fiddle with it all too much as my work depends on it atm

Your camera has already a hardware problem as it is obvious upon your description of the problem. The best thing for you to do really is to take it to an authorized Fuji service center and have it repaired. It this is still under warranty, you can save cost of repair.

If you would continuously hit the camera against a hard surface, you could permanently break something inside that might cause a permanent damage and this might increase the cost of repair for the camera. You just needed to have the purchase RECEIPT of that camera and you're good to bringing that to your nearest service center.

Hello rhettributio

Can you please do or answer the following and send the results back to me to help diagnose the problem.

  1. In video mode , zoom in and out. Can you do this and is the video fuzzy at all?
  2. Does the camera start blinking after each and every shot or just sometimes?
  3. Can you take a picture normally without zooming in or out?
  4. Can you take a picture without the SD card inserted?
Get back to me on those and me or another expert will assist you.

Kind Regards

Okay , thank you for the information.

It sounds like a lens error in the camera but this is normally accompanied by a error message of some kind and since I am not to familiar with Fuji camera's I'm going to open up the question so that other more experienced experts can comment on your situation.

I hope you get this sorted asap.

    Kind Regards

Sony bravia lcd won't power on after lightning strike

I am sure the tv is shot from the surge but you can check a few things. I would take the tv apart and test the power supply first. Look for obvious burn damage throughout the boards. If there is a blackened one (prob video board) then you can try to replace that. Don't worry about taking this apart and breaking it further. In this case it can only get better for you.

How to take a good picture in bad lightning

You can find the manual here. They have some suggestions for shooting in low light:
  • Set scene to "NATURAL LIGHT" Capture natural light indoors, under low light, or where the fl ash can not be used.
  • or set Scene t "PARTY" Capture indoor background lighting under low-light conditions.
Use a tripod if available, or brace the camera against a wall, table, or other fixed object when taking pictures to reduce blurriness.
If you don't have an object to brace the camera against, use these techniques to reduce camera shake. Press the camera button instead of jabbing at it.
Search the internet for "low light photography" for more tips. The PARTY and NATURAL LIGHT settings on your camera should boost the ISO on your camera.
Do some test shots before hand in low light situations to see what works best.

My ps3 won't show on tv but it show that it's playing

Are you saying that it has sound but no video?

Plug only the video plug (yellow) to the TV. Turn on the backswitch. When the red light in front is on, put your finger on the on/off button in front AND KEEP IT THERE. You will hear some beeps; don't worry about that. Keep your finger on the button until the front power light goes red again. This resets the PS3 video settings. Turn the PS3 on and the TV should pick up the signal.

Hope this helps. Keep us posted.

I have exactly the same problem as ammcgee What we can do? By ammcgee7 on Apr 20, 2011 My Nyko Wand for Wii will not sync properly. The two bottom lights for stay lit and device won't work at...

1) Open the battery compartment and there should be a small circular red button.

2) Next to the Wii's SD storage area there is a rectangular square button.

3) Hold down the red button on the controller and the red button on the Wii until the light on the controller stops blinking.

Sometimes it can take multiple tries to "sync" the controller with the Wii. Keep trying until the lights stop blinking.

I got a sony cyber-shot dsc-t900 what is error 61:10?

The error is: E 61 10 Zoom operations fault Inspect the lens block zoom reset sensor

Here are some things that are reported to work:

Reset the camera:
Home>Settings>main settings>Initialize>ok

If that doesn't work give the camera bottom a couple of slaps against the palm of your hand or strike the bottom against a book to knock the lens mechanism back in place. Be resonable with the force, you don't want to break the thing. It may take a half dozen wackings to get things settled.

Hope that helps,

Well, this is a fatal error that happens with the CCD chip. According to this page, you can try one of two things: You can slap it firmly against your hand in an effort to fix the broken transmission, or you can call up Nikon. According to the link provided above, they are supposed to repair it free of charge and regardless of warranty.

Not sure what you mean? You have 16 single shots one after another Now what do you want to do? Turn the camera back to single shot? Read the Manual -Full manual in PDF format on disk Do something with the shots themselves? Use image editor in computer Do none of these? Try another way of putting the question
