Microsoft optic mouse

posted by MeMe4 on May 31, 2008

Just stopped working. Unplugged it to move the laptop, granddaughter used the laptop, got it back and the optic mouse doesn't work. Red light is on the mouse, green light is on the plug on the side.
Thanks for any help

Try fresh battery and if one on the pack doesn't work, try another --make sure the batteries are NEW and scrape contacts in mouse with emery board a bit and blow out sand --contacts can oxidize.
