Question about Toshiba Satellite P15-S470 (PSP10U-0GGPGR) PC Notebook (PSP10U0GGPGRPSP10U0GGPGR) PC Desktop
My kids were screwing around with the laptop and set the bios password. now it will not boot up and i cannot get into the bios setting to verify things are correct. on my desktop pc's I could go in and set a jumper to reset the bios. does this toshiba P15-S470 have a similar jumper?
I have had the laptop apart to clean out the cooling fins on the power supply and to replace the hard drive and combo drive, so I am not afraid to take apart again. I just need to know where to look for the bios reset feature.
My sat came with a password installed on it and i had to remove the cmos batt to reset the bios.it was located on the right side of the comp under the keyboad, covered by a black piece of tape.
