Contact Lexmark support and get the current firmware for the printer. This may or may not fix the problem, but the next option is a bad engine card and the firmware upgrade should be free.

How to clear back to factory setting

Service-mode functions
NVRAM initialization
An NVRAM initialization will return the following device settings to the factory-set defaults:
All menu settings, including the fax header and company name
Fax numbers and names that are associated with one-touch keys and speed-dial codes
Additionally, all faxes stored in memory are cleared.
1. Turn off the product.
2. Press and hold both the down arrow button and the Cancel button, and then turn on the product.
3. Wait until the message Permanent storage init. appears, and then release the buttons.
When the NVRAM initialization process finishes, the product control panel shows the Ready message.
Super NVRAM initialization
The super NVRAM initialization clears all settings affected by a regular NVRAM initialization, and also
clears the product language and country/region settings. Both settings must be reset after a super
NVRAM initialization.
1. Turn off the product.
2. Press and hold both the down arrow button and the Cancel button, and then turn on the product.
3. Wait until the message Permanent storage init. appears, and then release the buttons.
When the process finishes, the product control panel shows the Ready message.

Everytime i start up the computer it beeps 3-4 times, and the monitor says vga input not connected...whats could be the problem?

here are the beep codes for your exact dell model. this should give you a starting point on finding out what the problem is.

Beep Codes Your computer might emit a series of beeps during start-up if the monitor cannot display errors or problems. This series of beeps, called a beep code, identifies a problem. One possible beep code (code 1-3-1) consists of one beep, a burst of three beeps, and then one beep. This beep code tells you that the computer encountered a memory problem.
Reseating the memory modules may fix the beep code errors in the following table. If the problem persists, see "Contacting Dell" in your Owner's Manual for instructions on obtaining technical assistance.

For legal reasons the NVRAM can ONLY be copied and never altered or cleared.

KMBS in the US are the only ones who can transfer the data.

My Lexmark T522 printer is showing: 954 Service, NURAM Failure

info from the lexmark site:hope it helps!
Printer is Posting a 953 or 954 Service NVRAM Failure Message ID: ENUS9756
To clear an NVRAM error message:
Turn the printer off.
Leave it powered off for at least a minute to give it a chance to reset, then power it back on.
If that clears the error, continue using the printer but keep an eye on it for the next day or two to see if the error returns. If the error does not return, the printer should be fine.
If the NVRAM error does return, you can try resetting the printer's NVRAM as follows:
Turn the printer off.
Now press and hold down the right Menu arrow button (>), the Select button, and the Go button at the same time.
While continuing to hold all three of these buttons down, turn on the printer.
Keep holding down the buttons until the printer displays Clearing NVRAM or Restoring Factory Defaults, indicating that the printer is performing an NVRAM clear. You can release the buttons at this point. WARNING! Do not power off the printer during this process.
When the printer has finished the NVRAM clear, it should return to the Ready mode.
If the printer has not gone back to Ready after fifteen minutes, turn off the printer and then turn it back on again as you normally would.
If these steps do not clear the NVRAM error, there may be an issue with an installed option on the printer. Electrical options (like flash memory, network cards, code SIMMS, and additional RAM memory) are the most likely causes. To see if an installed option is causing the error:
Turn off the power and remove any options that have been installed. (For information on removing memory or code SIMMs, click here.)
Turn the printer back on.
If the NVRAM error continues, the printer will probably need service.
If the NVRAM error is gone after you have removed all of the options, power off the printer again.
Reinstall the options one by one. Power on the printer each time to see if the NVRAM error returns.
If the NVRAM error returns as soon as you reinstall an option, that option may be causing the error.
Remove that option.
Turn off the printer and reinstall all remaining options (if any). If the NVRAM error appears only when that one particular option is installed, that option may be defective or incompatible with the printer.
If you can reinstall all of the options and the NVRAM error is gone, an option may have been loose and simply needed to be reseated. Again, keep an eye on the printer for the next day or two to see if the error returns. If not, the printer should be fine.

If your printer looks like it will need service and it is still covered under its factory warranty, click here for information on how to contact Lexmark Technical Support.
