If there is a headphone or audio out jack, you can plug some speakers into that. If there is not, you can get someone who works on these TV's to add one to the tv for external speakers (Or do it yourself if you are familiar with electronic circuitry).

Good luck!

Both left & right socket use the same speaker

The manual I just download from Teac shows two sockets for each speaker. Is this a second-hand model? It's possible that someone has tampered with it, perhaps fitting a headphone socket to the back of the unit with the speakers wired to one plug.

Check your speaker and speaker connections. Do you have normal display? If so, after checking your speaker and speaker connections and they are ok, you might have a problem with one of your output elements (Mosfet).

Can I connect an active speaker to the Teac AG d7900 output

http://produto.mercadolivre.com.br/MLB-184407791-av-digital-home-theater-receiver-teac-ag-d7900-_JM

It would have helped to know something morwe about the 'active' speaker.I imagine its manual would tell you what it needs for input.

Active speakers are usually designed to be driven by volume-controlled Line Level inputs. This receiver has none except for the Subwoofer PRE Output.

If I had the user manual for this product, I'm sure I could solve it right away. Have every thing connected correctly.By the waym the product is a Teac RW D250 CD/DVD recorder. A question, is it possible...

The TEAC site seems impenetrable as far as just asking for a certain model number but you could give it a try. As a customer you could also complain that it isn't as straightforward as it should be.

Hum in TEAC EX-M3 radio

(1) Is the hum out of both speakers?? (2) Is the sound distorted out of any of the speakers?? If the answer is yes to 1 and no to 2 then it sounds like one of the smoothing blocks or capacitors have gone down and requires replacement. If no to 1 then you probably have blown the output chip or taken one side of it out, check all connections to the speakers, try not to use tape joints which are unreliable. If you do have to piece the cable, solder the connections. Then replace the chip, Ian

Connecting An Equalizer

you will need 6 equalizers or 3 stereo equalizers.

connect the 5.1 analogue outputs of your media player (DVD Player) to the equalizer and then connect the analogue output of the equalizer to the AVR.

now you can equaize the sound for extra boost and cut.

Warning: it is not recomended to do so unless you have a powerful amp and high quality and higher wattage speakers, as equalizers are ment to be used mainly for entertianment zones and outdoors in professional applications.
the home speakers annd electronics are not really capable of taking such electronic stress as they are designed to work indoors in a confined space.
but if you are confident go ahed.
