As soon as I turn the switch to start it blows, I tryed a 30 amp and still blows. Im not even ingadgeing the electric cluch yet. It should be a 20 amp fuse. Could it be the starter switch?

I looked for a shorted wire can't seem to find any. I disconected electric cluch but still blows fuse. As soon as I turn the key it blows. Could it be a bad key (starter switch) ? And it should be a 20 amp fuse

I didconected the red wire from the voltage regulator. and guess what the fuse stop blowing. But now I have the problem, Is it the alternator (stator ) or the voltage regulator? When I start it my voltage runs 12.5 volts and less when I turn on the lights.

If the fuse is blowing there is a short somewhere. Does it blow when you do something every time? Like when you engage the mower deck, turn on the headlights, or is it just randomly blowing? If it is randomly blowing then that will make the short a little more difficult to find. It is probably a wire that is just has the insulation pinched off or rubbed off somewhere. If it is doing it at a specific time let me know and I will tell you where to look.

This can be due to a few things, and I ran across a good blog that talks about what to check on this model, and how to check them. Could be a shorted wire, or PTO clutch, so read the blog. At one point a fellow talks about using a 30 amp fuse, but it looks like most agree it should be 20A.
Here's the site:

Good luck, and hope this helps.

Husqvarna YTH2348 when clutch pedal is released, something grinds below and makes a lot of noise, but tractor does move.

Not sure what is going on here, these machines do not have a clutch as such, it will be a idler pulley that is pulled onto the back of the belt to tention it thus taking the drive to the hydro unit, so it may be a simple idler pulley replacment, or slave pulley replacement, with the hydro in neutral have somebody sit in the seat and work the pedal whilst you look under neath and watch what is happening.

depends on how old the mower is, for the past 3-4 years, Husqvarna made it so that you have to replace the unit, unable to just reset it.

Husqvarna yth2348 keeps blowing fuses as soon as one is changed and you attempt to turn it over the fuse blows

You have a dead short in the circuit for that fuse. Check for a pinched wire, or a wire rubbed thru a touching metal.

Blowing fuses

try unplugging the pto, starting the mower and then engaging the blades. If it still blows a fuse the problem lies in the mowers wiring. If not the problem is the pto. Hope this helps
