Not sure how to turn it off, but a workaround is to put in an INCORRECT password and save that.

I locked my computer with a password and now I cannot remember the password. How do I unlock my computer?

  • 1Hit "Control," "Alt" and "Delete" on your keyboard all at the same time and hold them for a few seconds. Select "Restart" from the list of options presented in the Task Manager. If you cannot get to the task manager using this method, manually shut down your computer by pressing and holding the power button. Wait about 30 seconds before turning the computer back on.
  • 2Wait for the computer to get to the Windows logo then press and hold "Control," "Alt" and "Delete." The classic login box will appear. Type "Administrator" in the dialogue box marked "User" and leave the password box empty. Click "Sign in" or hit "Enter" and wait for Windows to load the administrator profile.
  • Click the "Start" button on the bottom-left corner of your screen. Scroll through the list of programs until you find "Control Panel" and open it.
  • 4Locate the "User Accounts" tool. In the "User Accounts" window, select the password tab. Locate the account that you wish to reset the password for and select the text box with the black dots in it. Delete these dots and enter the password that you wish to use. Re-enter the new password in the "Confirm New Password" area. Click "Apply."
  • 5Close all of the open windows. Then, click your "Start" menu and select "Restart." Wait for Windows to restart and this time allow it to boot up normally. Enter the new password into the "Password" dialogue box and hit "Enter."

Hi i forgot my unlock pattern what can i do

Try your pattern 15 times and a dialog box will appear that will link you to sign into your Gmail account where you can create a new pattern password.
If you don't remember the password for your Gmail account, you will need to complete a factory data reset. Factory reset will permanently delete all your data and customized settings, and will remove any applications you've downloaded and installed. SD and SIM card data will not be deleted.
With the phone turned off, press and hold the Volume Down button, and Power button for 10 seconds.

Wait for the screen with the 3 Android images to appear, and then release the buttons.

Press Volume Down to select FACTORY RESET, and then press the Power button.

    Hi David,

This could be because of the autocomplete option enabled in your PC browser.
Follow the steps below to clear any past username/password data saved on the PC

    Open Internet Explorer
Click on Tools ( on top right side of screen )
Click on Tools from Menu bar

    Click on Internet Options
    Click on CONTENTS TAB
    You will find Autocomplete option
    Click on Settings
    You will find 3 options
    Web address - Forms - Username/password
    Uncheck the Username/password option
    Click OK

    Click on General Tab
    Click on Delete button
Click on Delete Files button and click OK to delete
likewsite do the same for Delete Cookies and Delete Forms

Click OK and close Internet Explorer and re-open

Now when you try to signin with your username and password, you will find your username in the signin box.

If you are using Mozilla Firefox

    Click on Tools
    Click on Options
    Click on Contents Tab
Uncheck the option - Remember password for sites

In Yahoo log in mail, how do I uncheck permantely the automatic 'keep me sign in' feature? I tried internet explorer/tool/delete/password and it doesn't work

If you look up at the upper left after you log on to your mail you should see sign out. If you sign out you should be able to remove the checkmark. If the problem is that you told your computer to remember your password. You should be able to change your password and this time tell your computer not to remember the password when you sign in.

Everytime i turn on my pc the mail is my home page. I never sign out and the button is pushed to remember me, yet i have to sign in everytime.

Make sure your computer's not deleting the browser history and catch doing so erases the password from the computer's memory therefore you'd have to RE type it instead of the computer keeping you login or automatically logging you in

My solution to this problem would be to manually clear the catch/cookies and browser history so the computer doesn't keep trying to do that then RE type your password and username tell the computer to remember you then close the browser and restart your computer then try logging in again the computer should automatically log you in or have kept you login hope this helps
