unide antenna light comes on when keyed up everything from antenna all the way to the radio has been replaced still comes on radio checked out ok at cb shop light did not come on

I have the same problem.

have Uniden PC78Elite, first one had no squelch and the antenna light came on when keyed. Uniden replaced the radio, connecting it up today in my truck, this one does the same thing?????

You have an antenna problem. Get a good antenna, such as a Wilson 1000 & use the SWR function in the radio to tune it. Wilson antenna come with tuning instructions.
