DeLonghi Bar32 espresso machine is clogged. I've owned 2 DeLonghi espresso machines and have had the same problem with both. After a while I can't get anthing to flow through the baskets anymore. I've tried using descalers but even when I put the basket in with no grounds, the water gets as far as the basket but won't flow through. I've tried taking the baskets apart and cleaning them with hot water and a toothbrush. I've even used a pin to make sure the holes were clear. Any suggestions??

SOURCE: I have a Briel Espresso

To get the nut opened you will need the exact tool. You can get the exact tool from local part store. But if the nut is too tight to remove then, apply WD-40 spray on the sides of the screw. The screw gets tight due to rust gets collected in its side. The WD-40 spray dilutes the rust on the sides of the nuts/screws and make the procedure simple to release the screw/nut.But spray the liquid on the side of the nut and let it remain there for few minutes then try if same problem then spray some liquid and try after few minutes. In 2 or three tries it will get release by the screw driver.-------------- For help from Briel:---How Do You Get Service?

SOURCE: I have a delonghi magnifica

Here was an answer from wholetottalove.com:
DeLonghi recommends using Durgol, and you should descale/decalcify about once every 3 months depending on your water quality. Some DeLonghi machines even have built-in message systems to notify you when it is time to descale. You can purchase Durgol by following the links below. Durgol Express is ideal for coffee makers, and Durgol Swiss Espresso is recommended for espresso machines.

This site says you can use citrus based descaling solution to the directions on the bottle.

Good luck, and hope this helps.

SOURCE: I need a manual for

If you were to log on to the manufacturer's web site, I think you will be pleasantly surprised as usually one is able to download, by model number, Customer Instruction Manuals, and a list of Dealers for spare parts, as required.

Just Google the manufacturer's name and follow the links. Make certain you are directed to the manufacturer's web site as some search engines direct you to other sites and they charge for the information that is normally free of charge.

I hope this helps.

SOURCE: Our office machine Gaggia Titanium

Well, "Ventilate"simply means that there is an air pocket caught in the system and running waterthrough it can fix the problem. When the ventilate message appears, you willneed to run hot water through your steam/hot water wand as if you were going tofill your cup with hot water. If the message does not go away after doing so,you will have to run hot water through your wand continuously into an emptycontainer (emptying one full water reservoir if not more). Once yourdisplay screen reads "Select Product, ready for use," you will beready to brew delicious coffee again.

SOURCE: I am trying to use

Hello.
It sounds like the pump is not functioning at all, if the unit is under warranty then I would suggest taking it back ti the manufacturer. To replace this unit while under warranty would not be worth the time or cost in parts and labor. Nothing can be done without having to dis-assemble the unit.
I hope this helps Regards GM

Lost directions - how to descale keurig ?

Hello, Here is a tip i wrote, see if this helps you.

Have you ever wondered, 'how do I descale my expresso machine?' First lets us understand what is exactly is scaling. The build up of minerals inside the hot parts of your coffee machine or espresso machine is commonly called lime scale. When lime scale builds up inside the Espresso machine, it slows down the water flow, reduces the boiler capacity and can prevent your coffee machine from working properly. To keep your Espresso machine operational at full order, it is important to descale it every three months. The time intervals between descaling depend upon many factors. Quality of your water and the amount of water running through the machine are the two main factors that decide the frequency at which you should descale your Espresso machine. The more you your machine, more often should you descale it. In some cities, in conjunction with a water filter you can use your coffee machine for a year or more without descaling at all. If you use less water by drinking espressos you'll need to descale less often than if you make cappuccinos.

Descaling products are widely available from stores that sell coffeemakers and espresso machines. Be sure that the product you buy to descale your Espresso machine is intended for this specific use only. Before you descale your Espresso machine, always unplug it and make sure that it is cold. Also, never immerse the appliance in water and nor should you use abrasive cleaning products or scouring materials on any part of your Expresso machine. In case your Espresso machine does not come with a instruction guide or booklet, then use a proper citric acid based descaling solution designed for espresso machines. This should be mixed and prepared as per the instructions on the bottle or packet. Once your Espresso machine has been descaled properly you would not be left wondering, 'how do I descale my expresso machine?', treat yourself to a great cup of coffee. Some popular models of Espresso machines are Krups EA8080 Espresseria Automatic, DeLonghi Magnifica EAM3200S, Krups Nespresso CitiZ & Milk XN 7106 Fire-engine red, DeLonghi Perfecta ESAM5400, DeLonghi PrimaDonna ESAM6600, DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM4200S, DeLonghi Perfecta ESAM5500 and Magimix Nespresso Citiz M190.

We have a 12 cup Mr. Coffee about a year old. We put 4 scoops of coffee in and the appropriate amount of water. Every day, the filter overflows and grains of coffee get into the pot. How do we keep this...

Because I own a espresso company,I believe I can help you. There is several things that can cause a coffee machine to over flow. 1, putting to much coffee in, where water can not drain through filter. 2. The grind of the coffee, if it is ground to fine, like ground for espresso, will not allow coffee to flow through filter , drip machine that are not under high pressure like espresso machines have to have ground more course. 3, wrong type of filters, not fine enough for water to flow, or made for high pump pressure machine such as espresso machine . 4, putting to much water in, is not an issue on a mr coffee, because even if you fill it to full cup line, it would have nothing to do with filter over flowing, besides the coffee grounds always absorb some of the water anyway. In conclusion, my positive professional diagnose is Grounds of coffee to course, and 4 scoops seem a bit to much for a filter of a mr coffee machine that holds only 12 cups. To test this is make a pot same way and use only two rounded scoops and see what happens, if does not over flow that solves that. But your saying I want it stronger, believe me I know. I too like my coffee strong and a flavorful . I have that solved too. Go to a good walk in espresso shop, like a star bucks, tell them you want some good strong blend and have it ( Ground for Drip) and then still only put two rounded scoops, it takes less do to the blend and kind of coffee. Please let me know if my advice worked, thanks mike. oh notice my screen name of mc1 bean, now you know, I know what I am talking about :)

What does it mean to descale my tassimo? the yellow light is on and the screen keeps saying "descale". thanks

In order to keep your Tassimo machine operational at full order, it is important to descale it every three months. Descaling products are widely available from stores that sell coffeemakers and espresso machines. Be sure that the product you buy to descale your Tassimo machine is intended for this specific use only. Mix the descaling product directly in the water container, following the instructions provided on the descaling packaging. Then replace the water container on the machine. Place a large cup or mug on the cup stand, insert the cleaning disc, bar code down and close the brew mechanism. As soon as the AUTO light illuminates, press and release the start/stop button. This will fill the brew cycle with descaling solution. Empty the cup and let the machine stand for 15 minutes. Then open the brew mechanism and close it again, leaving the cleaning disc in place. Repeat this step two more times for maximum descaling effectiveness.

Discard the remaining descaling agent from the water container, rinse it well and refill with fresh, cold water. Clean the machine by flushing water through it in the same manner and emptying the cup as it fills. Make sure that all the descaling solution has been completely rinsed away, and then flush two full water containers through the machine before using it again. Remove the cleaning disc, rinse and refill the water container and your Tassimo machine is ready to use. Also, before you descale your Tassimo machine, always unplug it. Also, never immerse the appliance in water and nor should you use abrasive cleaning products or scouring materials on any part of your Tassimo machine. This method works for most espresso machines, including some of these popular models: the DeLonghi Magnifica EAM3200S, DeLonghi Magnifica ESAM4200S, DeLonghi Perfecta ESAM5400, Gaggia 74507BCN Classic, Krups EA8080 Espresseria Automatic, DeLonghi PrimaDonna ESAM6600, the BC0255 DeLonghi coffee machine and the Krups Nespresso CititZ XN 7006.

Hello, I have a Delonghi Espresso Machine (EC 155). I bought it 17 days ago and I have used it twice in a day carefully. Everything was perfect with my machine until 3 days ago. Then I observed these...

Your machine is new and its under warranty you have rights to replace it with new one. Call your dealer where you brought it, it's either they will replace it or send a service technician.
It will void the warranty if you try to unscrew something.
I hope my advice gives you an idea regarding your unit problem.

I have a DeLonghi EAM3200 series expresso machine and I need the instructions for the decalcifying process.

Typically the process is to simply run a vinegar and water solution through without coffee grounds. Usually a 2 parts vinegar to 1 part water solution will do it. Next, run clean water through 2 or 3 times to rinse out the vinegar. Be sure to let the machine cool between boilings.

My DeLonghi Magnifica S ECAM23210 coffee machine is leaking water from the back.

I received the exact same machine for Christmas yesterday and had the exact same problem! I took it back to Williams Sonoma today and exchanged it for another one and I just started it up and have the SAME problem! Water comes out the bottom onto the counter - never even makes it up through the machine. This must be a batch of lemons - I guess I'll call Delonghi tomorrow.
