Question about Canon ZR85 Mini DV Digital Camcorder
I see fuzzy vertical lines on the screen and the viewfinder when recording. When playing back an old tape, no problems. Manual focus and different zooms don;t solve it. Camera has a full battery, but has not been used in about 3 years....
This problem may be due to a malfunction of the CCD image sensor in the camera. It is defective in this model and canon will repair it for you at no charge. Here is the link to their service notice. You can call the 1800 no in the article and they will send you a form along with a ups label to send the camera to them.
