Inside water dispenser pumps water out really slowly on GE Profile PFS22MISBBB

It is possible that your water filters are getting plugged. Have you changed any filters lately?
The meat pan lever may also be turned to the coldest position and on units that have a low water usage, this will also cause the tank to freeze. You will want to lower the meat drawer setting or use more water from the door. This does not apply to Top Mount water dispenser models, because they do not have a reservoir. Problem requiring service, glass fill time.

  • Dispenser drips water constantly will be a water valve problem, and should be checked by a service technician. If you would like to schedule a service appointment, please contact GE Consumer Service at 1-800-432-2737 or schedule a service appointment on-line.

  • Dribble as defined as a small amount of water (few drops) that may miss the glass ONLY AFTER USAGE. This is due to a delay in the overall system.

Dribble can be minimized by the following actions:

    - Purge the tank, by holding down the dispenser for 2 to 3 minutes, to remove any trapped air that may be building pressure and causing the dribble.
    - A few drops is normal, but you can also prevent water from missing the glass and dripping down the cradle area by moving glass slower when removing it from the cradle.
    - You may need to periodically empty the recess grill and clean out underneath it to prevent overfilling and water dripping down the front of the refrigerator.

  • Also, remember the dispenser in the door will not operate unless the door is closed

The water dispenser is extremely slow. It takes one minute to fill a 12 oz glass.

Check/Change water filter - even if new! Also check to make sure your water supply at the wall is turned all the way to the "on" postion.

Hi, The freezer should be "0", the possible clogging you have could be a leaking water valve or an over filling ice maker. I would have the ice maker checked for volume of water dispenser during harvest, should be 5.5 oz. (2/3 cup), if more the 6 oz. the ice maker is bad. If fails to stop filling or leaks/drips, replace the water valve behind the unit.
    I hope this helps.

I have a frigidaire side by side with ice maker and water dispenser. when it goes to make ice, water drips out of the water dispenser. once the ice maker fills up it shuts off. it drips enough to fill a 16...

Mine would seep water out of the dispenser after I poured a glass of water and or the ice maker would use water. Not much, a few drops at first but it kept getting worse. I found out that there was a lime build-up in the dual solenoid water valve. To get to this valve, gain access to the back bottom of your fridge. Shut the water supply and pull the power cord. Remove the cardboard cover, disconnect all tubes connected to the valve unit and pull the electric plugs. Remove the 2 metal screws holding the valve assembly and pull it straight out (the other end of the valve assy is held by a key hole type slot). Now that you have the valves out, blow in the supply inlet and you should see if one of these valve is not making a perfect seal. Once you have this figured out, it is time to fix it. The valve are a sealed unit and opening them would wreck them but you don't need to take them apart. A replacement valve assy will set you back a $100 but there should be no need for a new valve. Not much in there can break. Just pour a little CLR or Lime out in the inlet and use a small tooth pick to push and release the valve plunger in and out. Put as much liquid as you can fit in and let it stand for a few hours until the calcium has dissolved. Work the plunger again to free the big stuff, rinse it all and blow to confirm that the seal is now perfect. Put it back together (easy, all the lines are colour coded. Make sure you don't have a leak and push your fridge back in its spot. Voila! P.S While you are in there, you may want to vacuum the condenser and all the dust you will see. You should have no shortage of dust... smile.gif

    Cheers

My keurig says I need to descale. How?

Descaling depends the size of the reservoir. I see the B60 but not the B66 at the Keurig site. The two units are apparently the same from searching the support side of the Keurig site: http://www.keurig.com .

For the Mini coffee makers, you use 20 oz of vinegar (2 10 oz cycles). For the larger Keurig units, it takes 48 oz of vinegar.

In either case, fill the reservoir with vinegar and put a large ceramic (12 oz mug for the mini unit) mug on the drip tray. Do not add a K-cup. For the B60 (and probably the B66), press the Brew button. Discard the vinegar after the cycle. Repeat the brew process until Add Water is indicated. Discard the vinegar each time. Then wait 4 hours with the unit on. Discard the remaining vinegar and rinse the reservoir. Fill the reservoir with 48 oz of water and brew several cups without a K-cup until the "Add water" message appears. Discard the water in the mug each time. Repeat the vinegar cleaning if De-scale still appears in the LCD. Run more water without the K-cup if you notice a remaining taste in the coffee after the rinse procedure.

For the mini, fill the reservoir with 10 oz of water, lift the Brewer handle and lower it after 5 seconds with no K-cup in the unit. Press the Brew button. Discard the vinegar after the cycle. After the first cycle, pour the other 10 oz of vinegar into the Cold Water Reservoir. Lift the handle and lower it after 5 seconds. Press the Brew button and wait until the light becomes steady. When vinegar starts to be dispensed, power off the unit. Wait 30 minutes. Then power on the unit and lift and lower the handle again. Then discard the vinegar after the cycle. Next run 4 rinse brew cycles with 10 oz of water each time. Discard the water each time. The unit should be ready to brew with a K-cup after the 4 rinse cycles.

    I hope this helps.

Your water inlet valve on the back where the water supply comes in is probably leaking. disconnect the water line coming out of it and see if you have a slow drip. Try the dispenser to see if it's just drips after use.
