I do not have operating instructions for my Intermatic DT 300 Digital Lamp Timer. How do I reset my Intermatic DT300 Digital Lamp Timer to show the correct time and to set up the on-off lamp switch schedule? Thanks for your help Ron McCaffrey

Reset timer to clear memories.
This is older timer no longer manufactured.
If functionality is not restored after reset, the internal rechargeable battery may be bad.
Don't buy used timers from ebay.

Replace with newest line of inexpensive timers: choose from 1-2 outlets, grounded or polarized. Outlets have same programming schedule.

If you have different timer, then add a comment and describe the timer in detail for possible identification and instruction.

There is no repair for defective timer.
The DT300 is sold under at least 3 different brands and product numbers, and each manual shows identical steps for choosing 12H and 24H format.

The manual says to press and hold CLOCK button until display shows 24H. Then press HOUR button to change to 12 hour format.
I am guessing this step cannot be done if timer has programming in memory, so timer has to be reset first by pushing in reset button for a few moments.

The DT300 is not available from Intermatic
I guess they discontinued the timer
If internal battery will not charged, then the timer is no longer good

Go to www.intermatic.com Notice there is a recall for this model timer with codes 40z to 52z. Contact Intermatic for replacement. Here is link to the DT-17C probably same instructions.
