Install drivers device windows xp

That's because wireless protocol "N" wasn't invented when XP was written. Either buy a "G" wireless adapter (which will work with XP) or upgrade your operating system to Vista or 7.

Hi enoonoo
Even though the product claims to be compatible with Windows and Linux, it has 1/ no drivers for any Linux system and 2/ does not work with Vista / Windows 7 .
It is useless , it will just don't work anymore .
You can always create a network , sharing all machines via a gateway . It also works between different OS versions like sharing a W7 unit with an XP one .
Best regards ,
fanaudi .

Change my settings from wep to wpa I have a belkin 54g

when you change the wireless security on the router , it is recommended tht you will change the wireless network name also ( SSID ). Because when you try to connect to the wireless network on the computer, your computer will try to connect to the same old network name with the old wireless security settings. To avoid this you can change the wireless network name. WPA is supported by windows XP SP2 and above operating system.
If the operating system on your computer WINDOWS XP SP1 and if you are trying to connect using the windows utility then you would not be able to connect to the network .
