Question about LG Shine KE970 Cellular Phone
I recently bought an unlocked LG Shine KE970 off ebay. I was at college when I used it and it worked fine there, except I did have problems with it in basements and bathrooms, but my friends phone would work in the same places where mine would not. Anyway, back to my main problem which is when I moved home, I pick up no network, which is only an hour away. I have AT&T and I live in Kentucky.
I talked to the guy who sold me the phone and he told me this:
"The problem is that you don't have 1900mhz in the area you live. This phone is a triband and works only on 1900mgz At&t work on 850/1900MHz .
Apparently you had the right band at your school area but not where you live."
Oh well I want a Blackberry anyway.

You can try and manually set the network.

click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
