MC45 gourmet cube Scotsman ice machine, why are the ice cubes cloudy? I use filters

The cloudy look maybe very small air bubbles. To check this, draw a glass of "cloudy" water and let it stand for a while if after that the cloudy ness is gone then it was tiny air bubbles and harmless, if not then you got a bigger problem.

My keurig's display center - where you pick size, there is a black "bubble" on it and it is getting bigger. Now it is almost impossible to read the screen. Is there a way to get rid of the black?

The LCD screen is kaput - much like a LCD monitor going bad. Perhaps from someone striking it with force. Contact Keurig about it - they may offer a free replacement or low cost replacement model. I bought my first Keurig in 2000 and have found Keurig's customer service very satisfactory, better than most.

Bubbles are projected on the screen

I am assuming that the "bubbles" are most prominant when the picture is dark. If that is the case, it is most commonly referred to as dust "blobs". Dust particles get on the lens assembly inside the projector and are just out of focus so they appear as blobs or bubbles. If you can carefully remove the cover and gently blow out the lens / color wheel area with compressed air it should reduce the "bubble" effect. I would not recomend any further dissasembly as it is complex and time consuming and unless your very careful, could end in disaster. Don't forget to clean the air filters either.

Touch screen is not working. would like to know how to access phone from keyboard also unlock

If you can see a heat or moisture bubble underneath the screen's plastic protection cover then that is probably the problem. I used my fingernail to lift the plastic screen cover enough to get air underneath and the bubble collapsed. After that the touch screen worked again. You may need to push the bubble to one side of the plastic near an edge of the screen if possible. I wish I had known all this before I paid to get a new phone sent to me. I went to the Sprint store and called HTC and they were no help. You would think they had seen this happen before.

My temp gauge goes up to the hot but doesn't overheat but blows cold air then the gauge will drop to bout half n then start blowin hot air replaced thermostat n a new rad cap could it be the heat sensor

No, because it blows cold air when it gets hot. There is air in the system or the coolant is low. Intake manifold gaskets are a very common problem on these engines and if left unattended to can cause even bigger problems such as head gaskets if the engine over heats too much. Check the coolant level and if it is low, look for leaks at the water pump, radiator and especially the intake manifold where it meets the head. Also, pull the oil dip stick an/or the oil cap to see if it looks milky. If it does, there is coolant getting into the oil.

Brand new 120 GB Classic used twice and screen has developed two bubbles. Wipe screen and they appear to get smaller even disappear, only to slowly reappear the same as before.

Hello there hstar73.

Here's your GEEK-steer ...

You say it's new? Interestingly you also characterize the defect at "bubbles" that disappear when pressed down on, then slowly reappear.

Call me crazy, but that sounds like the perfect description of a screen with the protective film still adhered to the surface. They look like bubbles, because they are air bubbles, forming between the film and the surface of the screen.

Am I right? I gotta know! Thanks in advance for posting back to let me know either way. :)

Help!

There is a thin plastic lens that covers the main LCD. Most commonly Oils from your skin can work into the phone and lay between the lens and the screen.

With your fingernail, you can gently work an edge of the lens till you can get under it and remove it. You can use a knife or tiny screwdriver. Once it starts to lift, it will come off easily, it is only held in place by a thin layer of adhesive around the edge.

Take a lint free cloth and wipe the screen (CAREFULLY) and the back side of the lens. Then just lay the lens back in and you should be taken care of.

If it is anything else, like a dark spot in the screen itself, or adhesive around the edge of the lens, let me know. I can tell you exactly what you would need and where to get the parts.
