You want a light switch on extension cord.
What kind of light switch do you have? You posted under GFCI device which is totally different than ordinary wall switch.
And what type of extension cord?

If ordinary light switch is installed on 3-wire outdoor extension cord:
Slice open the side of cord and you see 3 wires: black, white and green.
Cut the black wire in half and connect each end to brass screw on light switch.

If ordinary light switch is install on indoor 2-wire extension cord.
Look at plug and notice there is a wide blade and narrow blade.
Narrow blade is hot. You want the wire connected to narrow blade.
Cut that wire in half, but do not cut other wire.
Connect each end of wire to brass screw on light switch

If you want to install line switch onto indoor 2-wire extension cord:
Narrow blade is connected to hot wire.
Cut that wire in half, but do not cut other wire.
Open line switch.
Connect each end of black wire to brass screw. OR if no screws, then place cut wire in open grooves.
Tuck other wire into groove and then reassemble switch.

Try using a different power outlet and see if the problem continues. if so you may want to try a new power cable. Either you are not receving enough power from the outlet, or the cable may be shorted out in a spot. Hope this helps.

Sounds like either a bad LCD or a loose connection to the LCD. Very risky and time consuming to try to fix aat home. Diagnostics and service by a Nikon Authorized Service Center is advised.

this i a faulty lcd. if the camera have guarantee send the camera to the center. if the camera is falling down or you have make a pressure on the schreen., you must replace the schree. the lcd replacement is not so dificult if you have a eletronic knowledge.
if you go on the ebay international seller and isert your exact model you can find the lcd schreen to a low cost. the cost for a lcd is from 20 to 35 euro.to the china seller the cost is lower but the schreen comes in one month from china to uk.
if you buy the schreen to a european seller you have the lcd soon..but the cost is higher.
to rplace your schreen. go on you tube. and write exactly this.
you can find any videos..and you can find any of my videos.
write exactly this.
(lcd umtausch) so you can see very mutch videos of replacement of lcd. if you are lucky you can find the replacement of your specific camera model. so you can look and make the fixing alone. if you dont find the exact model..look more video possible. and you can see that the fixing is similar. if you have understand how you have to do.. buy the schreen on ebay and replace it. if you want help write me and i help you.

if you can see the foto on your pc, but not on your camera the schreen is broken.. you can find easly the schreen on ebay international seller with the exact model of your camera...and you can see many videos,,,to know the system to hange the lcd alone on you tube,
on you tube write lcd umtausch..if you are lucky you can find the replace of your exact model...or of other model..but in this mode you can understand if you have possiblity to make this job alone...one lcd cost from 20 to 35 euro

buy your schreen on ebay international seller with the camera exact model number ..and replace the schreen alone. you can find a lot of video of lcd replacement on german you tube... write in this mode on you tube.. lcd umtausch so you can see if you have possibilty to make it alone...it is not so dificult.

Try pushing down on both ends of the black platen roller. Sometimes one of the black clips on the end of the roller can break causing one end of the roller to lift up, giving half letters.The clip on the right side can be replaced but the left side clip can not so roller would have to be replaced.

te pcb's tat drive the panel have gone bad. call lg set as 2yr warranty.

You can try to remove the toner cartridge, tap it from end to end to loosen up toner inside, then reinstall it. Sometimes this will fix it.
