which of the four buttons? they are: forward, reverse, mode and adjust. The HNL shows the correct time for (eastern standard) time in the digital window, but the watch hands different time. For instance, the hands are showing 8:12 while the digital displays 4:33.. Please advise a little more on point so I can determine whether this watch 'Tecno, not Techno' is broken or not.

    thank you.

This 'Tecno' atomic watch has hands to show time and the digital display that set by radio signal from the main clock. At present, the digital shows correct time. The hands do not. I want to know how to manually set the hands. The buttons are forward, reverse, adjust and mode. How do I set the watch hands manually? Please let me know you have my discription of the problem. Thank you.

The digital display shows the correct time for eastern standard time, but the hands show almost 3 hrs ahead of the digital. ie: the dd is showing 9:10pm and the hands show 12:50am.

    thank you

Exactly. It was working properly. It was well worn when I received it. I believe it is a good watch and some good attention is deserved.

    thanks

Please explain, what do you mean you want to sync it? It should automatically readjust the time based on the atomic clock. What are you trying to sync it to?

Thanks

Wow that is a very strange problem, and the hands used to be synced up? And you didn't change or adjust anything?

Please let me know and I can help

As long as you never adjusted anything then this tells me it needs servicing. You are going to want to take it to a watch person, they are very delicate watches. I would get it evaluated and it probably just needs some routine maintenance. There is something in the gears that is misaligned, or "gummed up" so to speak and needs a cleaning and reset. There is no easy way for you to do this yourself, and trying could badly damage the timepiece.

    Thanks

The watch is designed, from my understanding, to sync to the WWV signal, and I don't think it can be synched manually.
This web page explains the suggested synching procedure:

Good luck, and hope this answers your question.

Hello there

Prepare your watch for setting, your wristwatch will probably have a button on the side that needs to be pulled into the second of three positions, especially if it's a chronometer watch. A digital watch will have a button on the side that will need to be pushed in to set the watch's time.

Set the hour and minute of your watch to the current hour and minute. Allow the watch to run until the second hand, or the seconds, is at zero. If this changes the minute over, that's okay. You'll change it again when you compare it to the atomic clock.

Pull out or push your button again to stop your wristwatch from running and prepare it for setting.

Visit www.time.gov. This is the official time according to the U.S. Government.
Choose your timezone, according to the map. Wait for the time to load.

With your hand poised over the minute button/hand on your watch, wait until the current minute changes over and the seconds are at zero on the atomic clock. When the seconds are at zero, change your minute to the next one. For example, if it is 1:12 p.m., wait until the atomic clock says 1:12:59. When it changes to 1:13:00, change your watch to read 1:13. Your watch will be synchronized.

Hands won't sync up

It sounds like the time zone may be incorrect; check your manual to see if this can be the case. Also, these devices may wait until some time between midnight and 3 AM to synchronize with the 'atomic' standard. Make sure you have the watch near a window as this may aid reception depending on where you live.

Unfortunately no. You will need to try contacting Invicta direct. Sometimes you can go to Invicta retailers and they will have some left over or they will have instructions for similar models.
