Question about Acer Aspire 5600 Series 5630-6951 Laptop
I'm trying to fix my friend's daughter's notebook as when you turn the PC on it comes up with the following message:
Primary Master ST9160821AS SET
When I click enter it asks for a password but I don't know what it is! My friend's Daughter got the PC for Christmas & as she is only 10, she can't remember what it is - can anyone help? I only want to reboot the system but it won't let me do anything without the password.
I foget my harddisk password to accer laptop. so how to stat it.
If master password is avalible so please tell me.
Because without password my laptop is do not Boot or any work.
If you known any way to other please tell me.

Generally you can remove passwords by removing something called the CMOS battery. This battery retains the configuration of the computer when the AC power and main battery aren't present or working.
The battery is generally located in the RAM expansion bay. Locate the battery and remove it. let the laptop sit without ANY power connections for at least 30 minutes. When 30 minutes or more has passed, replace the battery and connect power. Boot the laptop and press F2 to enter the BIOS setup. Generally no configuration is necessary on laptops so just save and exit.
