I set up a Laguna powerjet pump and a Laguna Pressureflow filter in my pond yesterday. The fountain from the powerjet works fine with good water pressure, but even if I turn the dial on the powerjet to focus all the water pressure on the Pressure flow filter I get little more than a dribble of water coming out of the other end. There are no kinks in the tubing and I used the largest bore of tubing I could find. Any suggestions?

Clearflo 8000 system, can I reduce the flow as pressure is too great for waterfall feature

You can reduce the flow using a ball valve on the outlet side of your pump. This is good for limiting the flow up to about 20% without adding too much strain on your pump. If you need to reduce it more use a Tee fitting and attach a second ball valve to the return just before the first valve to return water to your sump and prevent over pressurization of the pump. Please excuse the crudeness of the diagram.

Aerate a pond

I live near Memphis TN so don't have that pesky "frozen water" problem. However, I do aerate my 2,500 gal goldfish pond with a Oase Biosys Skimmer (free standing/ floating skimmer) which is powered by a Laguna fountain pump. I attached a small pipe on the discharge end of the pump & set the pump so that this pipe is a few inches below the water's surface. The discharge provides a small fountain effect that keeps the surface moving while aerating the water. The skimmer keeps the leaves / debris off the top of the water the pump keeps the water moving...and moving water will not freeze. Hope this helps

Laguna 7000 pond pumps stopped pumping

No, once this inside of the cylinder cavity is scored it's toast, the only hope is that it is still under warranty.
