I have ms7061 motherboard.my pc has stopped playing anykind of audio.and advanced control in volume control is greyed out.what to do?

    i tried it.. but that did not help..actually in sound panel..bluetooth audio output was automatically selected..instead of my vinyl deck..i found that and after uninstalling bluesolei it got fixed..but why that was happening i cud not understand..thanx..

Try reinstalling the audio driver.

try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer hope this helps

first of all change the play back set from head phone in the audio tab and see if there is mute option on on the speakers symbol on the system tray bottom right hand on the system if yes uncheck the mute

Check the manual to ensure the jumper is in the right position.
Assuming you are referencing onboard sound.
If so do as i suggest above and ensure your motherboard audio drivers are installed correctly.
Go to control panel\ sounds and audio devices (XP) click on Advanced button and make sure that Play control and wave volume control are ramped up and not muted

I have gateway boston digital BA735 on a dell dimension 3000 with soundMAX integrated digital audio sound card but get no sound from speakers. What can i do to get speakers to work?


we have to check whether the issue with speakers or in sound card..just remove the audio jack from computr and touch the jack with ur fingers..u shuld hear some noise in speakers..if u can able to hear that speakerrs are fine and the issue with the sound card..do reply
