Well, it depends on what the problem is. open up the unit and check for somthing loose.

If you are talking about voice coil drag, then you have a speaker that needs to be rebuilt or replaced. There is a co in California that does this type of repair and I thought not very costly.

What would the best way hooking up a 15" memphis dual voice coil sub ran with a 1000 watt memphis d amplifier??

If the amp is a 2 channel I would hook up each voice coil to a different channel. Also, make sure you hook your amp up as close to the sub as possible. With a sub that size you need to eliminate any delay in signal transfer because the sub is so larg.

My speaker stop workin and the amp is fine and everything is hooked up right

Looks like the speaker is blown , or the wiring inside the speaker is broken. To test if the speaker is working, simply hook up the terminals to the ends of a AA, AAA or C battery. Speaker should make a noise, and the cone should push outwards ( or pull inwards, if the polarity of the battery is reversed). Also test the wires that are hooked to the amplifier with a speaker that you know is good working order, just to make sure that there is nothing wrong on the wiring, on that particular channel in the amp.

.4 times 10 to the 4th power

Hello lilzizia,

I'm not really sure what this has to do with the Memphis PRC41's, but just multiply .4X10X10X10X10 = 4,000.

Hope this helps.

Blowing subwoofers

Sounds like you have burned them out. Let them cool & then turn on the system at a low volume. If they still work then you have not damaged them too badly & might still be able to get some life out of them yet. If on the other hand they don't budge then they are burned out & seized, it's time to buy some new ones.
