What does the code on frigdiaire front loader?

Hello Friend, this is Z. I appreciate your post!

I understand your Frigidaire washer is showing error code E20. First, check the drain hose for any restrictions or kinks. If you have check the hose and it appears to be clear and free, then potentially the underlying issue may be the main control board or pump. Generally it is a good idea to have a professional take a look at it to get to the root cause. Cost of parts and technical expertise entailed in these types of replacements can be a bit tricky.

Error code E20

Hello igor_lyub - Typically error code E20 means the water is not draining properly or not pumping out fast enough. Does the washer making a humming noise? If so, either the drain hose may be kinked or the drain in the house is clogged. Once you have confirmed and cleaned the hose and if issue continues contact a professional to move forward accurately. The unit may possibly have a faulty pump or control board.

This is a blocked drain error code (E20) which can be due to a clogged/kinked drain hose, blocked drain filter/coin trap, or a broken drain pump. The link below provides the detailed troubleshooting procedure of this error code. Error codes

I suggest you snake out the drain into which the machine waste hose goes, the standpipe that is. The drain could be blocked somewhere causing pressure problems which is conveyed to the machine. Be sure to replace the machine exit hose at about 3 feet from ground level, and dont shove it too much into the standpipe. Do not block up the point where the machine hose goes into the standpipe, it shouldn't be air tight.
