Stuck in video mode

I had the same. I plug it into the computer and unplugged it several times, took out the micro SD card. Finally it said "no SD" after a while. Pulled out battery and put back in then plugged into computer again, and back to normal it seems. Sorry this is not a step by step but I was just trying random things till it worked. Did not re-test to see if it is OK for the next recording session.

Problem with ASUS P5GD1 mobo

Try taken the bios battery out for about 30 secs, replace it and then reboot, after post press F8 untill you have a screen pop up with a safe mode option use the arrows keys to navigate to safe mode and press enter. In safe mode goto my conputer c:drive(boot drive) windows. In the windows folder look for a file called prefetch, delete all it contents. Exit out of everything and restart the pc. If same thing happens post back.

''PRESS FN + X TO RETURN THE SYSTEM TO NORMAL MODE'. This does not appear to work, it then shows hit F1 for shutdown, nothing happening with that operation either.

Sony DSC H-5 Camera slow response time

you might have switched the shooting process to timer mode. please refer the instruction manual to change it back to normal mode.normally there will be button near the lcd screen with the symbol of a timer deviice. if you click it once it sets the delay of shot to 2 sec and for the second time to 10 secs.and for the third time, it goes back to normal mode. thanks for using fixya. please dont forget to rate my solution!!!

I was adjusting picture on monitor and now picture completely messed up

  • Signal out of Range.
  • Out Of Scan Range
  • Horizontal frequency is out of range.
  • Cannot Display This Video Mode Out of Sync

This issue may occur if the signal from the video adapter exceeds the scan range of the monitor. The video adapter setting for updating the screen (the refresh rate) is incompatible with the monitor.
you should reinstall your video drivers in safe mode.

To restart in safe mode repeatedly press the F8 key during the computer startup. This will bring a menu where you'll be able to choose safe mode.

3yr old got ahold of monitor

ok, get to the event where you get this to happen "...then turn it back on the monitor does come on normally...", but just after power-up, press the F8 key to go to safe mode. If nothing visible, press ENTER anyway...get to safe mode yet?
