You can't fix this at home, it must be sent in to a Panasonic authorized repair center, it will likely need a new LCD display.

LCD woont turn on properly but the camera takes pictures while the screen remains black or in my case dark grey as its not totally black.

The water has ruined the LCD, water and electronics seldom mix, you are lucky it still will at least take pictures. If it is a high end model then send it back to the Factory repair center listed in the user manual (or phone number to find a repair center).

My lumix DMC-F3 camera wont let me delete a video, when I try to delete it, it says 'this picture can not be deleted". How do I delete it?

I've seen this camera glitch up before when trying to delete a video from within the camera. I'd suggest connecting it to a computer and deleting the video off the memory that way.

I have five or six video clips on my Panasonic Lumix DMC -FS10 and every time I think I'm getting close to deleting them the message on the back says 'Some pictures cannot be deleted' - surely that can't...

Just format the card.

i cannot solve this problem but discovered this post and we have exactly the same problem with the same camera was hoping someone out there knows what to do.

When I turn on my BRAND NEW Panasonic Lumix DMC-FT2 camera, I get the message "This card is not formatted with this camera and not suitable for movie recording" It is a 4Gb card, supplied with the camera....

Go to camera Menu and look for memory card settings/ format option, select format and press OK to format memory card.

If the slide switch on the side of the card is in the locked position, you cannot delete....move the switch.

How do i delete photos from my Lumix camera

For one pic at a time, bring up the pic you want to delete and press the button with the trash can icon. Follow the on-screen instructions. To delete all pictures at once, just go into the menu and find "format"...follow the on-screen instructions.

How do I delete a picture on the Panasonic LUMIX DMC-LC40

When reviewing the images on the LCD with the image you want to delete showing on the screen you push the button that has a trash can icon. The camera will ask you if you want to delete the file yes/no; scroll to yes and use the right arrow button to confirm.

Hi,
If you want to delete a single picture, press Delete button located on lower right corner to delete that particular picture that is in playback view.
To delete multiple/ all picture, press Menu/Set button and select choice like Delete Multi/ Delete All and press Yes button to execute.
