Hi Sounds like some of your printer settings have changed?
Check print settings and your paper size.

Also check print preview to see if print is different.

If all are OK.

1. Remove both printer cables and switch off printer for at least 1 minute.
2. Remove printer driver from computer control panel/printers
3. Swich off computer
4. Reconnect printer cables
5. Start computer abnd allow it to find printer.
6. Instal driver.

Usually does the trick if all worked OK before!

But if not go to Epson site and download new driver.

Good Luck!

Well this could be caused by a couple of things that i know about.

1: there is a line of dirton the drum, which may need to be cleaned to clear it.

2: there is a shadow set up when it prints now.

Printing 11x14 photos

First use a photo processing programme (like say Photoshop or PS Elements - or if you have not got that (can be expensive) get the free Faststone Image Viewer and size the image to twice the paper size you want, then use the crop tool to select half the image and save that as a file with a name where you can find it again. Do the same with the other half. You will now have two files, each half of the paper size. As they will have small borders, print and trim the borders, so you can then mount side by side to achieve what you want. I would advise to NOT try and print without borders - that can introduce other problems - just accept having to trim the small borders from normal printing.

I bought a new ink cartridge, but cannot find my manual. How do you change the cartridge???

Changing an HP Ink Cartridge
  • 1

Open the lid of the printer. Depending on the model, there will be two cartridges on the right, one for black and one for color.

  • 2

Find the cartridge that is running low on ink. The black cartridge will be in black, the color cartridge will have a patch of color (usually green) on it.

  • 3

Pull down on the black clamp that is holding the cartridge in place and slide out the used cartridge.

  • 4

Open the package of the new ink cartridge. Remove the protective tape and slide the new cartridge into the printer.

  • 5

Snap the black protective case back into place and close the lid.

I print borderless several times & found white border both side

This is because the image is of a different aspect ratio than the paper. That is, if your image's dimension is 8x12 inch and you are trying to print it on an 8x10-inch paper, the printer will adjust the longer side to 10 inches. Hence the shorter side will become less than 8 inches. This will lead to white border on the shorter side. If you try to adjust this, the longer side will fall out of the paper and hence in the print, this portion will be cut.

So please understand that this is normal. One option to prevent this is to crop the image to fit the paper size.

Hi felinemcmeow, you need to remove the cartridges from the printer,
    1. Open the printer cover
    2. Wait until the carriage moves to the right side of the printer and is idle and silent
    3. Press down lightly on top of the cartridge latch
    4. Pull out the bottom of the latch to unlock it
    5. Slide the cartridge out
    6. Hold the print cartridge so that the copper strips are on the bottom and facing toward the printer, and then slide the print cartridge into the carriage
    • Install the tri-color cartridge on the left side of the carriage
    • And install the black cartridge on the right side
Once completed lower the cover and the printer is ready.
If this does not resolve the problem please come back so we can try another step.
