(2a+3b)+(3a+2b)=9+16=25
5a+5b=25 so a+b=5
(3a+2b)-(2a+3b)=16-9=7
a-b=7
a+b=5 and a-b=7 so a=6 and b=-1 therefore 3a-2b=20

How do I sole system of equations

To solve a system of equations, there are two algebraic ways to solve them, one is by substitution, while the other is elimination.

1) 2a + 3b + 5 = 0
2) 2a + 4b + 10 = 0
-----------------------
-b -5 = 0 (subtract 2 from 1)
+b-b-5 = b
-5 = b

Substitute into 1) to solve for a.

2a + 3(-5) + 5 = 0
2a -15 + 5 = 0
2a -10 = 0
2a -10 + 10 = 10
2a = 10
---- ----
2 2

a=5
Substitute into 2) to check if we did it correctly.

2(5) + 4(-5) + 10 = 0
10 -20 + 10 = 0
0=0

Good luck.

The ratio of a to b is 6:2. If a + b= 112, what is the value of a?

a / b = 6 / 2 so 2a = 6b or a = 3b

a + b = 112 so 3b + b = 112 so 4b = 112 and b = 28, a = 84

(a + 2b)(a2 - 2ab - 4b2)

I believe that the algebraic expression should be written as:
(a + 2b)(a^2 - 2ab - 4b^2)

which can be rewritten as:
(a + 2b)^2 * (a - 2b)

The simplified form of this expression is:
(a^3 - 2a^2b - 4ab^2 + 2a^2b - 4ab^2 - 8b^3)

which can then be further simplified as:
(a^3 - 8b^3)

Need a configuration wiring rs232 9 pins to two wire output

To communicate two devices with RS-232 ports, at hardware side you'll need 3 wires, Tx, Rx and GND, with DB 9 connectors at both sides ( A & B ) you have to connect 2A to 3B, 3A to 2B, 5A to 5B, if side A is DB-9 and B side is DB-25 the connections are 2A to 2A, 3A to 3B, 5A to 7B, at software level you'll have to setup ports as hardware handshake none, of course, working at the same parameters (speed, data bits,parity).

Algebra

C = 3B = 2(A+B)
3/2 B = A+B
1/2B = A
C = 2 (1/2B + B)
C = 3B

**A = 1/2B
C = 3B
B = B

1/2B + 3B + B = 4 1/2 B
180/4.5B => B = 40

If B = 40, then A = 1/2B = 20 and C = 3B = 120.

**answer: A = 20 degrees, B = 40 degrees and C = 120 degrees.
