I would recommend plugging into iTunes and backing up your phone. After you back it up, restore the device. Set up as new and test it. If the issue is resolved you can restore from your back up. If the issue comes back then you will need to set up as new

SOURCE: Getting a continous message that

This may be caused from liquid or physical damage to the iPhone, usually in the dock connector/receiver/headphone port.

If you're confident it's not caused by that, a quick fix would be to simply powercycle the device, an obvious step but overlooked a lot. Simply hold the button at the very top of the iPhone until you see Slide to Power Off appear on the iPhone display, do so and leave it off for atleast 30 seconds and do the same thign to turn it back on, until you see the Apple Logo appear.

If this doesnt work, another quick fix may be a software reset, you will not lose any data, through Settings > General > Reset > Reset All Settings. It will tell you that you are NOT going to lose any data and it will simply reset. This will turn the iPhone off and on, test it after this.

Last step, restore the device through itunes using a computer. -Plug your iPhone into your computer using your USB Cable that plugs into the charger. For best results, plug into the back of your computer as they can be higher power. -Open iTunes, make sure its fully updated, it will automatically ask you -Click on your iPhone on the left hand side of the iTunes, in the Column, beneath Devices -Click Restore on the main window of iTunes, half way down -Agree and Accept the Restore, this will erase all of your data -Backups are automatically created by iTunes, however they can store corrupted files and its best to not use them in this situation -For more information on Backing up your data via syncing and Restoring as New, follow this article: http://support.apple.com/kb/ht3828

Sure, which ever accessory you are trying to use with your iPhone is not compatible. As Apple releases new products, many of their older accessories become not compatible with the new models. Sadly, you will most likely have to replace your old accessory so it works on this version of the iPhone.

You must be using an accessory that is not an official Apple accessory. Just dismiss the pop-up and continue using it if it functions properly.

If it is appearing when you connect to a 3rd party charger then that is expected. If it's happening randomly you need to restore the iPhone with iTunes. Should that not fix the problem then you will want to have the iPhone replaced if there is any warranty left on it.

Replace your dock connector board. If you have water damage, then clean your circuit board with isopropyl alcohol. Of course, you should talk to the genius bar first.

Hi,

you'll need to restore your iphone to factory settings -

Use the following steps to restore your device:
  1. Make sure you have the latest version of iTunes installed and running before attempting to update.
  2. Connect your device to your computer.
  3. Select your iPhone when it appears in iTunes under Devices.
  4. Select the Summary tab.
  5. Select the Restore option.
  6. When prompted to back up your settings before restoring, select the Back Up option (as seen in the image below). If you have just backed up the device, it is not necessary to create another.
    ht1414_03--back_up_settings-002-en.jpg
  7. Select the Restore option when iTunes prompts you (as long as you've backed up your device, you should not have to worry about restoring your phone).
    ht1414_04--restore_dialog-002-en.jpg
  8. Once the restore process has completed, the device restarts and displays the Apple logo while starting up:
    ht1414_05--restored-002-en.jpg
iPhone only: For the iPhone only, after a restore, the iPhone displays the "Connect to iTunes" screen. Keep your device connected until the "Connect to iTunes" screen goes away or you see "iPhone is activated." If iTunes does not have an Internet connection, you cannot complete this step.

  9. The final step is to restore your device from a previous backup. Once your device is restored and-in the case of the iPhone-in the process of activating, you should be able to see the following in iTunes:
    ht1414_08--set_up-003-en.png
Select the backup you want for your device and select the Continue button to complete your device's restoration.
If you do not want to restore from backup, select "Set up as new..."
