I have a 2006 suzuki jimny and have a wheel wobble at about 48 mph,alo when going over a slight bumpy road i get a squeeky noise

Some front end part is worn, probably ball joint(s). Jack up and put on stands, have helper put long bar or 2x4 under front wheel and raise wheel up and down while you look for loose motion. If none found, have helper wigle steering wheel back and forth while you look for loose play in steering parts.

If the tires are bad i would suggest to start there , may try a ballance on the better tires . As for the squeaking brakes they may be worn out or have dust/rocks in them which can be inspected when you deal with the suspected bad tires

What is a CV joint?

A wobble in the steering is more likely to be one of

- loose wheel nuts
- loose hub nut
- worn steering tie rod outer joint
- worn steering tie rod inner joint
- loose steering rod universal
- worn steering knuckle ball joint

Out of these a worn or loose steering tie rod joint is most likely. If you can, jack the front of the car up and rest it on axle stands, NOT just on the jack, then have one person shake the front wheel back and forth while holding it at 9 and 3 o'clock, while another holds the steering wheel still. Then look at and feel each joint to see if you can locate the looseness.

Tire vibration

hi, to me this could either be that one of the weights have fallen off as this does happen from time to time if the wheel was not cleaned properly before the weights were put on if the balance is perfect then the only other problem you could have would be with the track rod end this also would need looking at to see if their was any play their causing this wobble.
It could also be down to the wheel bering but this is the least likely cause.

I would jack the front of the car up and put it on stands then grab hold of the tyre and try turning the wheel by hand fast back and forth as if you was turning the steering wheel left and right so give the wheel a wiggle and if their is any play then this indicates the track rod end needs replacing try doing this both sides of the car.

If you have no play then try swapping the front wheels with the back then this way if the wobble stopped you know its the wheels at fault but if the wobble is still their then this would indicate a fualt with the steering ie the trak rod ends need replacing.

Let me know how you get on or if you need further assistance ok

2001 hyundai santafe very wobbly wheel

If you've hit a pot hole hard then the wheel could simply be buckled. Remove the wheel and place it flat on the ground if it wobbles on the ground problem solved: buckled wheel!

Bicycle Rear Wheel Problem

Tighten the two pinion gear bolts that are holding the rear wheel, if the wheel is wobbling, then that is the problem.

If this does not fix the problem, you will probably better buy a new wheel, or replace the whole pinion gear and axis assembly, better to replace the wheel.
