You may need to light the pilot light at the valve going in to the dryer. If you have the owners manual it should tell you how to light it. Be careful it is not a hard thing to do but take caution and follow the steps correctly. If this has helped you don't forget to hit yes in the box and good luck friend!

Gas dryer runs but no heat. Took it apart cleaned all ducts and lots of years worth of dirt out of entire machine, looks brand new. Tested all components.

You did quite a bit of work. One other thing that controls the ignitor is called the flame detector. Its the black box looking thing mounted on the side of the big pipe the flame shoots into. Should be 2 wires going to it. A quick test to see if the ignitor comes on is to tie the 2 wires together. If you see the ignitor come on thats the bad part,

Did your circuit breaker blow.in your electrical box. Check that first before anything else. Sometimes if you have anything else on the same circut as a heater the breaker will shut down.

Why does my dryer start to heat up and then stop heating

check for damage to your burner fan, usually there is a vacuum switch that can cause the same issues, on some units the ignitor is used as a temp sensor, which tend to melt and give false readings.

Boiler without flame sensor

Sounds like the hot surface igniter is also a local sensor. If you unplug the molex 2 wire plug of the igniter, and turn your meter to resistance, I found that it should read under 110 Ohms. If it is over that amount, the igniter may not sense the flame. Replace the hot surface igniter.

Whirlpool LG7681XSW2 gas dyer will not stay hot

You have a faulty "flame sensor". Here is the part to order.
The flame sensor is number 49 on this diagram.
To replace the flame sensor, remove the back panel to gain access to it.

The part comes with a 365 day, any part, any reason return policy.

Kenmore Elite HE3 Gas Dryer - Heat flame will not ignite

The Igniter glows, then shuts off without igniting gas - the problem is probably with defective coils (black, located on top of the gas valve). It is recommended to replace all coils (usually two or three) if found defective.

Note: Sometimes the whole gas valve may be defective, thus not letting the gas out. However, this problem is not common.
