Char Broil commercial grill won't heat pass 300 degrees

I have had my 50000 btu grill for less than 2 months. It's just not heating up like I thought it would. How hot should this grill get?

The new regulators gas grill made to prevent flair ups when lit. Start with just one knob to lite it wait 3 min put on 2nd burner on low. feel the regulator if it is very cold start again after it warms up. if it is just a little cold warm it up by holding it and turn on the last burner

I had a similar problem and thought the propane kept running out....come to find out it was a defective regulator. $21 at the local ACE store as running to LOWES and trying to get a point across to a 17 yr old summer help college kid for a intermittent problem seemed more challenging then it was worth. Would barely light the burners and would not get over 200 degrees. Ripped it apart...blew through all the orfices including the regulator put it all back together and would work for a while then fail again. Good luck!

Lots of yellow - then very low heat

Are the flames still yellow? If so the burner just needs to be adjusted which is very easy? Look at the ends of the tubes that come out of the burner and end right at the back of the gas controls. You should see a small piece of metal that will slide or spin to close a hole. You want to close or open it a little at a time while the grill is burning. Adjust this until you only see blue flame or blue flames with a little bit of a yellow tip.

Need help smoking briskett on Char Broil Grill with smoker box

wood chips in the fire box. very low heat. around 200 degree.
maek sure the wood chip is wet and produce smoke. you need to monitor this through out the process.
briskette in the grill side without any heat. depends on the sixe and the thnikness of the meat, you need approximately 12-20 hours before meat become tender.
