I cannot find the wireless base to my wireless mouse and keyboard kr0401. Can I get another wireless base?

You can buy a wireless mouse and plug the dongle or base into a usb port . Most are Plug & Play so as soon as your pc starts up it should find the program on the wireless base unit and identify it for use . Try ebay.

Connect wireless keyboard and mouse to lenovo b550

There should be a small wireless dongle that cam with the mouse & keyboard, generally a small plastic piece on the end of a USB connector. Plug this into one of the USB ports in the back of the computer.

How to set up wireless keyboard and mouse

hello, attach the mouse and keyboard receiver to the PC and make sure to install the drivers if it not plug and play. the drivers usually come in a CD plate giving to you when you buy the keyboard and mouse. once that is done make sure the mouse and keyboard are turned on. ie, you must have inserted the battery into the source and usually a switch will be there to turn it on. hope it helps

Lost my set up directions...can't connect mouse or keybord...they only have usb ends.

Hi ebdaly...
Most all keyboards and mouse connections now are usb connected.
Just plug the usb from the keyboard or mouse into a usb port on the computer and you should be good to go.
The drivers for the keyboard and mouse are built in to your computer if you have XP/Vista/7,so they are "plug and play" items
If it does not work on your computer then you will have to have an adapter like the one show below for the mouse and keyboard, you can find these at Walmart,Staples,OfficeDepot, this one is from ebay.

Yes you can. If its a USB mouse, simply plug it into the port. Your operating system will now load the plug and play drivers for it and it will work

Wireless keyboard & mouse will not connect

Then your problem is most likely driver-related. The chances are nill that both mouse AND keyboard are defective. Looks like it is down to one of two scenarios. Either the driver is incorrect or corrupt, or the dongle itself is malfunctioning. The driver would be first choice since it would be a free fix to rule out.

try uninstalling the driver first, then reboot. Next go to mfg website for the keyboard/mouse/dongle and download a fresh driver. Then reboot. Note that preferably, the correct protocol would be to install the driver first, before plugging in the dongle. Hope this helps. One question I can think of regarding the dongle is whether or not the dongle lights up when plugged in - some do. If yours is supposed to but does not, it could be the dongle itself. The bottom line now is between the dongle and a driver really. I'd be willing to bet the mouse and keyboard are just fine they just can't interface because the dongle is the gateway and you know the rest...good luck.

Activation of keyboard

Did you receive a install disk for the keyboard and mouse. typically you need to run the install disk and then plug in the usb hub for the keyboard and mouse to be recognized by the computer. If tha does not work, restart the machinew/the usb hub and keyboard and mouse ready. Are there good batteriesin the keyboard, mouse and usb hub?

Wireless mouse all of a suddon stoped working. everything is plugged in fully charged , have tried the connect button along with many others. 7 button centrios laser mouse.

Nice mouse.

I've had some problems with wireless mice in the past, so I will just list the causes and see if one fits the bill for you.

1. Did you move the USB transceiver (this is the device that communicates with the mouse) from one USB port to another? If so, uninstall the mouse and reinstall it using the CD that came with your mouse.

2. Do you have any other wireless devices in the vicinity of your mouse that use a radio frequency rather than infrared, such as a wireless keyboard? If so, you may have a conflict.

3. Were you provided instructions on resetting the RF channel and/or ID code of the mouse? There is a small chance that the channels/codes between the mouse and the transceiver were scrambled and you may need to sync them again.

Hope one of these helps!

I'm hooking up my Memorex wireless keyboard and mouse. I hooked up the two pieces coming off the wireless receptor to the computer and now I can't get the mouse and keyboard to work. Do I press the button...

There should be a connect button on both the receiver unit that is plugged into the usb port, and on each device (Mouse, and Keyboard) you will have to press all of these again to reconnect the devices to the computer.
