Ipod 3rd Gen Nano - Image artwork distortion

Hi, hope you can help!

My ipods been great since Christmas except when i looked at the screen today the artwork for all music has gone fuzzy and a reddish colour, sometimes just refusing to show the artwork that is there behind the scenes. This happens when i play a track, look at the cover flow option and scroll through artists.

Any suggestions?
Thanks!
Jo

Hi, actually this seems to have sorted itself out. Think my ipod went a bit crazy when i was sending some tracks over. Turned it off and left it for a few hours and seems to have done the trick! Jo

My ipod nano keeps not displaying artwork on the ipod but displays it on itunes?

mine does that too.. sometimes the artwork just isn't compatible with the iPod, and sometimes, it just isn't compatible with the song, because people can lock the songs so that artwork can't be added.

I locked my ipod and forgot the code

If you have a third gen ipod nano and you locked the screen lock and forgot the code, well what you do is you hook your ipod to your PC,laptop ect. and disconnect it. It should be unlocked. But if you lock it you have to do that over again to unlock it.

IPod nano (3rd generation) not syncing

This is the advice I tell everyone.. Don't use the iTunes library!
There are times when you do need to use it, but 98% of everything you need to do can be done right on the iPod.

When you plug-in your iPod, you should see an icon for it appear in the left window pane. You can actually edit the song info, sort, categorize, or whatever right there.

The only thing you can't do is get iTunes to automatically download the artwork for you. But, to be honest, even when I do use the library to get my artwork, the artwork never "sticks" when I move it to the iPod, and I end up manually adding it every time.

I've had an iPod in some form for at least three years now. I've never had a problem editing directly on the iPod itself, and I don't miss the library one bit.

Hope this helps.
