If you have the details of where the car was serviced or bought they (or a mercedes dealer) can give you the code as long as you can prove you are the owner of the car (sometimes for a fee)
I had this problem before but the dealers gave it to me

97 mercedes benz radio is not working when i turn it on its says code n i enter know what the code is. I need help....

Unfortunately, this will probably be a dealer visit issue. You will need your VIN number for the vehicle. It may cost a little, but if you don't want to replace your stock radio, this is the route to go.

I have mitsubishi mirage 2000 my car stereo is antitheft it needs a code to go back on i bought used and cant get contact from the person i end up buying it from can you help me.

I recently changed the battery in my car, and now my radio display indicates 'CODE' or 'OFF' and the radio is not working. What do I need to do?

As part of the radio's anti-theft system on some older model year vehicles (2002 and older), the radio resets itself whenever it loses power from the vehicle's battery. Radio security codes are associated with each individual radio unit rather than the vehicle identification number (VIN) (since a vehicle could have the radio replaced). The radio security code must be input in the radio in order for the radio to work.

When you purchased your vehicle, you should have received a card that lists the four digit security code for the radio. If you are unable to locate this card (sometimes owners find it inserted in the Owner's Manual or glove box), the radio will need to be removed so that you can locate the Part Number and Serial Number for your specific radio. The Part Number typically begins with the letters 'MR' and the Serial Number is generally a string of digits and both numbers can be located on the audit unit's chassis.

Please contact your local Authorized Mitsubishi Dealer if you need assistance removing the radio. Once the Part Number and the Serial Number are in hand, your Dealer can access the security code for that radio. You may also contact our Customer Relations Call Center at 1-888-MITSU2011 (1-888-648-7820) and one of our agents will be happy to provide you with the security code and steps to reset the radio as long as you have the Part Number and Serial Number for your radio unit. Agents are available Monday-Friday 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. (PT).

Your gonna have to contact the dealer and provide your VIN so they can give you the code to unlock unless the code was place in the owners manual book but it is VIN specific.

If I disconnect the battery to reset the check engine light, will I need to reset the code on my radio? If so, where do I get the code since I bought the car used.

If you have a radio that is "anti-theft", you will need to enter the radio code after a sustained power loss. You can find the radio code in the owners manual. If you don't have the owners manual, you will need to contact a new car dealer with your vehicle information.

I have a Mercedes ML320 2002, that I need the radio security code. I had to replace the battery and now I am in need of this code. Please help.

Do you have the manual for your Meredes? If you do, browse the manual for the unlock code.

But if you don't have the manual, then it means you will have to purchase the unlock code. There is no site that is ready to give you the unlock code for free and without this unlock code, you cannot access your radio.

To get the unlock code, visits the below link and order for the unlock code.

Or you can visit any Mecerdes Center nearest to you as they might not charge you for the unlock code as long as you can proof that you are the owner.

Good luck.

Unolck radio

if you are talking about the unlocking code for the car radio (cd) this is a very tricky issue cause I had this problem before and from all the others had done ..and from the forums ..the only conclusion is that this kinda codes can not be removed but just by getting a master code from the manufacturer based on the serial of the product ...(in this case you have to write them a email on the support site ) ..and unlock it and remove the code and insert yours..
Or ..(this is the fast way ) you can take it to a repair shop and have them remove the chip that holds the code..and replace it ..They know which one and they do that a lot may cost you about 50 bucks..and it will be ok ...but there is no other way ..unless you can contact the previous owner and get the code...
The issue with those is that the code is stored into a flash type of chip ..and this is not affected by the lack of power or any other tricks that works in other devices.(result ..the removing of internal battery won;t work ) .so the only way is to remove it and replace it with a similar new one (or used)

Needs radio code after battery went dead. 2001 Mercedes benz e 430 4 matic.

Hi there,
You will need to contact any Mercedes Benz Service center with your VIN from the vehicle. They may also need you to provide evidence of your ownership for the vehicle. This is a standard precaution associated with security codes. Only the owner of the vehicle is allowed the information. They will give you the code from records kept against the vehicle.
