To change the password for the wireless network, you will need to open the settings page of the router.
Do you have any computer connected to the router with the cable?
If not then connect one computer to the Ethernet port on the router. Open the setup page of the router. Go to the wireless settings and change the password for the network.
Also change the SSID or network name sothat your computer will not try to connect with the old network settings.
try to connect to the new wireless network name.
