You will have to pull new wiring to do this, you should probably call a professional.

15 year old bath fan/light noisy. rectangular 2 bulb model 164A-D

Could be that dirt and dust have collected on the fins over the years and are throwing them out of balance. You could try cleaning the fins on the fan.

The bearings may also be wearing out.

15 years is a good life for a fan.

I have a broan ceiling light and exhaust fan. We changed the light bulbs now the fan is really loud and makes noise it didn't before?

Did you use the recommend wattage bulb (or that was in there)?

If you used the same or a higher wattage bulb it may burn hotter. When bulbs "burn" (are on) they actually do burn-out and may get cooler (and not as bright).
Changing the bulbs may also have shaken dust loose, allowing the fan to turn more freely and quickly, and if the bearings/lubricated points which may have been worn now shake about causing more noise, or, dust got onto the fan blades causing them to be heavier on one part than another which will definitely cause it to shake about and make a lot of noise (like unbalanced clothes in a washer's spin cycle).

Controls, heating and turntable function normally, but there is an intermittent failure (approx 80 of the time) where the interior light and blower do not function when the microwave is operating .

follow this test and fix it; God bless you
1)

  1. Light bulbIf your microwave light bulb is not working, perhaps it has blown. The first step is to replace the bulb and power on the microwave. If this does not correct the issue, the next step is to check the socket and wiring to verify if that is the problem.
  2. Light bulb socket & main control boardIf your microwave light bulb is not working after the installation of a new bulb, check the light socket as well as the wiring to ensure they are properly operating. If these sources are functioning properly, the next step is to check for a faulty control board as a possible root cause to your microwave light bulb malfunction.
2)
  1. Exhaust fan motorIf your exhaust fan motor is not running, there are a couple of things that you can check involving the motor to locate the problem. After removing the fan motor, you can manually attempt to turn the fan blades with your hand. If the fan motor is working properly, the blades should spin effortlessly. If this does not occur and the blades are taught, the motor will need to be replaced. Secondly, the fan motor itself can burn out due to time and usage. Using an ohm meter, the exhaust fan motor should read open for continuity. If it does not, then the fan motor has expired and will need to be replaced.
  2. ThermostatAnother part that could cause the microwave exhaust fan to not work is a faulty thermostat. A thermostat gauges the air temperature, which activates the exhaust fan when required. If this part becomes flawed, the exhaust fan will not energize and the thermostat will need to be replaced.
  3. Main control boardIf your exhaust fan is still not working and the microwave fan motor, wiring, and thermostat are operating accurately, the root cause could be with the main control board. Replace the main control board.

If the light and fan do not work, do I need to replace the entire unit or just the motor/

I agree that it would be cheaper and a better investment if you were to just buy a new one. You never know what all it might need either so it's best you call a pro so he can pinpoint the issue for you.

Does the motor for a nu tone bathroom fan #86933-000 supposed to have 2 mounting studs opposite the shaft end? 8664RP

Yes. This motor has two studs opposite to the shaft.

Here are some pictures:

It is actually a better value to purchase the motor assembly S97017706 or S97017705, both fit.

Can't get the cover off to change the light bulb

The whole cover/grill/globe pulls straight down to expose the bulbs. There are two heavy "V" springs, one opposite the other, that hold the grill to the fan box. You need to overcome the holding power of these two springs to pull the grill down. If necessary, you may want to run around the edge with a sharp knife in the event it was painted in place.

After changing a blown oven light, the clock works but nothing else turns on, including the fan, light, microwave

This light failure often occurs when a bulb goes out and the filament shorts, or when the bulbs are removed or installed without first unplugging the oven from the power line. Either can cause such a failure on the controller.

This can often also affect the exhaust fan operation, too. The lights and fan can be inoperable or stuck on too.
