Yikes, it is not really meant to be disassembled like that, it will void your warranty. If it is having difficulties I actually suggest you speak with Dymo directly and do a warranty claim on the unit. I am betting nothing is stuck down there, something has actually malfunctioned from a hardware standpoint on the printer.
