Efforts to print 4x6 borderless print result in only top part of photo paper being used and top third of photo being cut off

First thing to try (and I'm assuming you're attempting to print a photo within HP Image Zone & have already selected the 4x6 photo tray? Hint: can be done via printer, properties, printing shortcuts) is to change the 'more options' directly below where you'd selected the 4x6 image size and then change to 'shrink to fit' vs. the default 'crop to fit'... Additional thoughts includes rotating the image (can be done directly on the preview screen...)

Photos are not clear and has lines

I have the same problem with my camera. Olympus tech says the lens needs to be replaced at $185+ and it's 18 months old with little use. Not happy, not worth it. Don't buy this camera.

When i print my pictures the top portion of the photo is cut off. The snapshot shows up normally on the camera screen, but when the photos are developed the top portion is cut off.

Hi,
This problem is related to the memory card which you are using in your camera, which has corrupted. Change the memory card and your pics will be fine.

Problem printing photos accurately.

I fixed the problem by eliminating possibilities. The problem is with the default setting on iPhoto which I use to edit photos before copying to a USB then printing. I need to change the default setting constraint to 4x6. The problem is not with the camera. Camera is great! Thanks.

When printing photos, several horizontal lines lines appear. How can I remove/prevent them?

It must the nozzle check is not perfect. Check nozzle and do head cleaning procedure. If there is just little nozzle clog ( 1 - 2 lines missing), you can get good result with best photo/photo rpm setting.

Washed out prints - no color - not vivid

I just had the same problem -- go to epson.com and look under drivers and support. Select the R1800 and go to FAQS, there it will tell you how to resolve a driver issue that can cause this.
Good Luck!

Heads off photos

It is the borderless setting that does this, cause in actual fact, all borderless does is strectch your image.

If you remove the borderless setting, you will get the heads back

Unfortunately there is no way around this. Just keep this in mine when taking your next photo's.

Check your printer settings, If your printer is set on draft mode the prints may appear faded washed out, turn up the quality of the printing and this should solve the problem.
