Question about Acer Aspire 5315 Notebook
Do you have an HD television? Is it at least relatively new? Most TVs now should offer HDMI ports, the new standard from the old component cables (the yellow, white, and red cables) all into one simple cable. I hope you're using an HDMI cable because that's the easiest way to connect.
Now assuming your cables are right how about the TV settings? Check the Input or connection settings on the TV using the Menu button for the remote and checking the Source menu. Make sure it's on eithr AVI or PC. If those don't work try any other sources. If this doesn't help, call the TV manufacturer and ask them for further help.
