If the computer works you can boot into the bios (it will probably say something like, "Press F2 to enter setup"

Once inside it should appear on the first page, but if not just poke around you should be able to find it.

let me know if that works or not, there are other ways to find it ;)

Marlin 336 serial numbers

The Model 336 series has been made since 1948.
Early rifle serial number are located on bottom tang under the lever.
Later the serial number was moed to the top tang behind the hammer.
There should be one or two LETTERS in front of the serial number, that determines the year.
If there is no letter then it was made after 1969.

How do i restore my compaq preesario 2700t labtop to orignal

Put the Restoration Disk in, and when asked choose Full Install. (Destructive Installation) This takes it back to Day 1, when it came from the factory.

ALL of your personal info is GONE.

ALL programs/applications you downloaded, and installed; or physically installed, is GONE.

Don't have the Restoration Disk?

Get the Restoration Disk from HP Support.
In the US the disk is free. The shipping and handling is not.
$17 for a 5 to 7 day ship, $24 for a 2 to 3 day ship.

On the Bottom of the laptop is the white Service Tag. You need the Serial Number written down, to give to the nice representative on the phone.
S/N = Serial Number

I loss my Serial number:

Most serial numbers are located on the bottom of the bike known as the bottom bracket. Too view the serial number flip the bike over and look between the crank arms on the bottom bracket. If the serial number is not visible it may be under a the guide for the cables and that will need to be loosened. Other places for a serial number, but much less common are the underneath of the rear stays or the rear dropouts.

how old is the laptop/battery? rechargable batteries sometime with age; I'm told, over time lose their ability to hold a charge. As far as model number number, usually at the bottom side on the sticker you can find all information you need.
