Work through your menu looking for USB settings or MTP/ MSC mode. Firstly, I will try to explain MSC mode and MTP mode and what they mean.
MSC stands for Mass Storage Class. When your player is in this mode, the computer will see it the same way it would see a Thumb drive or flash drive, as a removable disk. It will assign the first available drive letter to your device, as well as one for the memory card (if it uses one and it is installed). This is probably the more popular of the 2 modes, and is a more "open source" type of standard. Most computers detect the player in this mode without a problem very well and right away. MTP stands forMedia Transfer Protocol. It is a Microsoft standard and is Microsoft's solution to connecting MP3 players and cameras to a w*ndow based Computer. MTP mode must be used in order to transfer ANY Digital Rights Management (DRM) protected content. MP3's downloaded form services like Rhapsody and Napster will only function in this MTP mode.

Most good MP3 players will have both of these modes at the users options.

Although not all do, so it is a good idea to check yours for these settings if you are having connection problems, if your has these settings try the MSC mode that should do the trick. Downloading issues

Before you start downloading to your Mp3 media player, you will need a software installation CD..

First install the Cd on a PC, and connect a USB cable from your mp3 to your PC..

Your PC will display information in your mp3 device.

To make it easy first create a folder in your mp3 device when it displays and just copy from your PC to the device ...i think that will work..

If you don't have an installation CD you can download on the net.. thank you..

How do I download music onto MP4 . Instructions with MP4 were no help at all.

generally speaking for all mp3 players..

What you do is download the music onto your computer first into a specific folder, such as my music.. Then once the music is in that folder.. ( downloaded form the net, or copied from a cd)

Then you would plug the mp3 player into your computer..

Then open up the screen, "My Computer"

Then find where it shows your Mp3 player, ( should be near your cd drive )

Then copy the music you want from the folder that holds your music, copy it, and then paste it onto the mp3 player..

That should load the songs on it to where you can disconnect it, and then listen to them..

Dont now how to put music videos on my mp4?

Can you hook it up to your computer? If you are running Windows XP or Vista, your Konaki should appear as another drive. Double click on your "My Computer" icon on your desktop. Then double click on the drive that represents your Konaki (usually called Removeable Disk or the name of your MP3 player). There should be folders labeled according to media type like Music, video etc. Double click on the folder called video. This is where you want to save your music video files. You then need to browse to where you have the music video stored on your computer. Right click on the video file and select copy. Then go back to the Konaki folder called video, and right click anywhere on the right and select paste. This will copy the files over to your MP3 player.

Konaki mp4

Not sure what you mean by "can't find a site that is compatible" though....? Your player will show up as drive in Windows Explorer when you connect it through the USB cable to your computer. Then just copy the files onto your player to that drive from Windows Explorer. Hope that helps.
