Question about Compaq Netelligent 3612 (267007-001) Networking Hub
If you have drivers installed properly and your wireless card is in the "on" condition and still it dont get any signal from wireless router/switch.
Try restarting the "Wireless Zero Configuration Service". here is the path to follow.
1. Go to Control panel. 2 >>> Administrative Tools 3>>>>> Service
>>>>> Find "Wireless Zero Configuration Service" and restart it....

Some do have switch where it is is always specific to each manufacture, so go to the manufacture web search for your model, and download the pdf version of your laptop model,
secondly check the device panel to make sure the driver is installed, if not install it, if it is already install, uninstall it and reinstall it, sometimes these small mechanical humans lost their mind and need somebody to give them a fresh start so do that.
